Almost impossible now to invest in uk stock market on long term basis....limited regulation and we have the nerve to comment about other markets!!! |
Wow get out while you cna |
Feel for the investors - the CEO gave me the heeby jeebies and I have monitored but stayed away from this RNS factory!!!
Traveling around China, issuing useless RNS!!!
I have no clue as to how CTL was going to exit with upside for investors?
CTL appears to be a perpetual AIM begging bowl firm!!!
CEO has turned out to be malafide!!! How is he just suspended - Board should have sacked him asap!!!
And how can the CEO not be aware if his shares have been sold?
Potential other fraud?
Not looking good for CTL!!!
I would cut and run - and not espousing as an opportunistic investor seeking to convey doom and gloom.
It is my genuine view - please note what I was conveying re IOG 6-12 months before its demise!!! |
Here's the link to yesterday's investor webinar. Well worth watching. |
Two thirds of additional production out of Chile would come from SQM’s planned partnership with state-owned Codelco, and the other third from new projects, Marcel said. The target doesn’t include proposed expansions at Albemarle Corp.’s operations.

Major car brand rolls out its last ever diesel motor & heads into EV era |

From VOX and forwarded by DFD on TG.
For assets outside the protected network, companies must submit applications for contracts (CEOLs) granting permission to develop the salars and specifying terms and conditions e.g. the need for local indigenous consultations. CleanTech has already applied for the CEOLs, which we expect will be granted in Q3 2024. Companies that are granted permission can take leadership in developing the new lithium projects, either with participation from the state or on their own.

It will come it’s just the market has not caught on. |
Good news on the RNS in particular that Chile is open for business. The salt flats that CTL are developing are outside of the protected areas. At some point the dots will be connected and re-rate achieved. The first stage of the CEOLS process should not be too far away. |
Leaving it late may or may not be the right approach. Caution not always the best policy. |
Th problem here are the long twist until any production, unknown volatility in lithium prices and risks until. It gets to make some money. Cash position will also come undernscrutiny as well as terms of any potential partner tie up which usually stiffs the little party involved.
Today's news shows people would rather wait and see how things go before getting stuck in a share that has a long way to go |
Doesn’t appear to have had much impact Count |

Thanks for those thoughts 888ICB. Very short sighted I would have thought as lithium won’t remain low and they are now producing of course.
My thoughts were a good time to be accumulating. |
Many investors have very short time horizons and are focused on the current low lithium prices rather than the likely prices in 2026,when CTL will actually be producing their highly desirable form of lithium. Potentially a good time to accumulate when something is very cheap. |
This has been a very limp reaction to what appears to be excellent news. Any thoughts anyone why ? |
