20/2/2007 11:53 | GeoffCapes - 15 Dec'06 - 12:55 - 26112 of 26121 Afternoon all. Still waiting for that long long long overdue extension I see. The reasoning behind the lack of progress is probably down to the US Company which currently holds the exploration licence (info gained from MM no less via telephone conversation ages ago) (if my memory serves me correctly holds it until either 2010 or 2015) is unwilling to give it up. | ![]() vavoom2
20/2/2007 11:35 | Stuart The simple answer to you question is no. Extension area is not held by a US company happy new year Michael Masterman Granted this could have been written by me, but i'm happy to forward the e-mail to anyone that wants it. | ![]() stuart14
20/2/2007 11:33 | I'm trying to find the e-mail I got from Masterman that said there was no US Oil Co. I'll post it when I find it. | ![]() stuart14
20/2/2007 11:31 | GC You and Tonester ramped the hell out of this stock. Your credibility not to speak of your self esteem must be pretty low in the light of the outcome of events i.e. no reserves and no oil! | ![]() phillis
20/2/2007 10:11 | Geoff, Thanks for that. It's a pity he never fully explained the general situation to shareholders in the first instance! | ![]() tommo41
18/2/2007 15:22 | I think Max Marilli is GC | ![]() phillis
17/2/2007 21:11 | Tommo. I think GC was in his heart being honest, but in my opinion he took spin from MM and added his own enthusiasm to it. The result was factually misleading. I was looking through some really old posts the other week that had details of his "Conversations" with MM privately and at the AGM and what ws said has never been close to coming true. Saying that I still think there is a future for CSH, and in time, with some luck and that elusive extension area we could see our money back again!! Good Luck too. | ![]() stuart14
17/2/2007 21:07 | Stuart14, I'll go with what you were told then and keep my fingers crossed. Must admit though that I always regarded GC as being honest, though prone to over-enthusiasm at times. Good luck! | ![]() tommo41
17/2/2007 21:00 | Yeah, listening to GC's "feedback" from Masterman proved to be right how many times???? Oh yeah. Never!!!! | ![]() stuart14
17/2/2007 20:59 | That's what I recall as well NEW2STKS but I'm hoping that he may have something to add which just might make the future appear a bit brighter! | ![]() tommo41
17/2/2007 20:58 | I asked Masterman if this was true and he categorically said it wasn't. | ![]() stuart14
17/2/2007 20:53 | As much as I hate to say I recall that GC said somebody was sat on the extension rights and was not interested / willing to sell it? | new2stks
17/2/2007 20:50 | Message for Geoff Capes if you still read this thread, as I notice you recently popped up on the EME thread: Would it be possible please to clarify exactly what you were told by MM regarding the proposed extension area, particulary the info concerning the current licence holders. Thanks. | ![]() tommo41
17/2/2007 20:33 | Eggbird, That 50K at 9p only equates to £4.5K. I suspect it's someone having a hopeful punt, like my purchase last week. I would love to see this continuing onwards and upwards but I'm finding it very difficult to see where the upside is. Granting of the extension area appears to be the only light at the end of the tunnel and I'm pinning my gamble on the chances that it just might come off in the near future, despite other factors indicating to the contrary. Had to have a little chuckle at the last RNS and the comfort some posters seemed to take from the knowledge that CSH's production appears to be stable at @150 bopd. How times change. It was about this time two years ago that we were being hoodwinked into believing that we were on course for @4,500 bopd by the end of 2005 and that the extension area was a mere formality. Still, let's wait and see. My recent punt was showing a few hundred quid profit at one stage last week but it's now back down to zilch. But it was a gamble that still might, just might, come off. Doubtful, but possible. Good luck to all holders!! | ![]() tommo41
17/2/2007 13:01 | BBC news: Oil prices up on Nigerian attacks Supply fears could push prices up further Oil prices rose above $59 a barrel after the US warned of further attacks in Nigeria on oil facilities. US crude oil settled at $59.39 in New York, marking a $1.4 rise, after the US consulate said militant attacks could affect expatriate workers in Nigeria. The rise was also caused by disruptions at two big North American refineries, temporarily reducing capacity. Some analysts say longer term the predictions of warmer US weather will likely weaken prices. Christopher Bellew, a broker at Bache Financial, said recent strengths "may be related to Nigeria", but prices could weaken given weather forecasters' predictions. When oil reached its peak of some $78 last July, geopolitical factors - including unrest in Nigeria - was seen as the main cause, as concerns grew over whether supplies would be threatened. Nigerian output remains 20% lower after a range of militant attacks a year ago on western oil refineries. A fire at the 118,000 barrel per day (bpd) Imperial Oil refinery in Nanticoke, Ontario, and a bomb scare at BP's Texas refinery, the third largest in the US, with a crude processing capacity of 460,000 bpd, halted maintenance. On the other hand, traders are looking to forecasts for above-normal temperatures are in the North East, which uses 80% of US heating oil, pushes oil prices lower. "The market is still very much driven by short-term factors like the US winter," said Tetsu Emori, chief commodities strategist at Tokyo's Mitsui Bussan Futures. "It's very short sighted at the moment as the winter won't last for more than the next few weeks." Figures from the Energy Information Administration (EIA) on Wednesday showed that distillate fuel inventories - which include heating stocks and diesel - fell less than expected last week. Stocks dropped by 3 million barrels - well below analyst forecasts of more than 4 million barrels. | nghomi
16/2/2007 21:38 | Production seems to be quite alot higher at CEK - more like 1000 bpd as far as I can understand from recent RNSs, the website, etc. Do you think that CSH is better value? | ![]() rupe1958
16/2/2007 18:46 | come on guy's no time to start blaming other posters. Im liking the 50k trade at 9p! onwards and upwards (as they say) next week. no downside here, so everone calm down! egg. | ![]() eggbird
