08/1/2007 11:27 | Caspian Holdings plc 08 January 2007 8 January 2007 Caspian Holdings Plc ('Caspian' or 'the Company') Positive levels of oil flow at well 121 Caspian Holdings Plc (AIM: CSH), the oil and gas production and exploration Company in Kazakhstan, is pleased to report commercial flows of oil at approximately 35 barrels a day from its recently drilled well 121 during the second half of December 2006. Following the successful testing of well 121, the Company will focus on increasing production and profitability from its existing wells prior to commencing its next drilling programme mid year. Production for the quarter ending 31 December 2006 was 11,630 barrels. Production was adversely affected during the quarter as a result of workovers of a number of previously productive wells including well 103. Remedial work is continuing on well 103 and well 112 with expectations that these wells will be in production in late February 2007. | ![]() marnewton
08/1/2007 10:46 | scsw, We can but hope. I still think that the extension will be granted eventually as there appears to be no reason to justify witholding the licence. Meanwhile it should be possible for CSH to be profitable. The big investors are holding, so why should`nt we? | ![]() enamel
08/1/2007 08:51 | I also see a reasonable future - however, it'll be a long time, if ever, before we see the success originally hoped for. Until, we begin to see solid, consistent (albeit probably unexciting) progress in the production rates and balance sheet, we're not likely to a dramatic recovery. On the positive side we must remember that the operational costs are comparatively low and probably require only modest extraction rates before we begin to see an operation profit. | ![]() spaceparallax
08/1/2007 08:10 | Pet on the move. | barkerman
07/1/2007 10:09 | enamel It seems that only you and me see any sort of future for this one. Certainly a really dismal share price performance but like you, I can see that possibly the fundamental value of this tiddler might one day be just too far out of line with its share price If that does happen and one could buy enough at or near the low, maybe some money could be recovered? Always the possibility that the Co. might be bought out for a premium over the SP; failing that it can always be used to offset my CGT. | ![]() scsw
06/1/2007 13:41 | The price of the stock will at some time in the future reflect the net assets and performance of the company. At present the share price need not bear any relation, especially in view of the current uncertainty about the value of the assets. | ![]() enamel
05/1/2007 21:45 | i think the marketmakers are enjoying downplaying this stock,i guess this will never come out any good and i lost all my money on this and i retire now penyless.good luck to you all holders.... | standby66

05/1/2007 09:12 | Who knows, but then how much of the other stuff that he said came true? | ![]() stuart14
05/1/2007 09:11 | I wonder why Geoffcapes (one of CSH's biggest fans) said that then? | ![]() badabing
05/1/2007 09:07 | Bababing, I asked Masterman about this US Company. Simple answer is, there is no US Company. | ![]() stuart14
04/1/2007 20:28 | I posted this yesturaday then removed it after i thought it hadnt been updated. (Saw the 3rd and thought it was new, then i realised that it was 3rd DEC not Jan.)...........Any how it is an update as i have checked it agaisnt the last one which was for the 1st DEC. Well 121 has gone deeper. So it could be they have got their dates mixed up. Thats what happens when you keep two books!!........ On the 22th Nov 2006 well 121 was marked up as well 120 on the map and 121 on the chart. ..............How many barrels a day are we hopeing for?.........Still for weekly updates they are still a few updates behind. Or have they just had a long christmas break?.. | conart
04/1/2007 12:23 | Well if you believe this post, if at all would seem to apply....... GeoffCapes - 15 Dec'06 - 12:55 - 26112 of 26121 Afternoon all. Still waiting for that long long long overdue extension I see. The reasoning behind the lack of progress is probably down to the US Company which currently holds the exploration licence (info gained from MM no less via telephone conversation ages ago) (if my memory serves me correctly holds it until either 2010 or 2015) is unwilling to give it up. | ![]() badabing
04/1/2007 12:20 | I've said for a long time now that csh won't do much until the get more land to drill on. I wonder when they'll get it, if at all. | ![]() bello39
03/1/2007 15:32 | Looking forward to the prod'n figures - although it would take a brave person to pre-empt them. | ![]() spaceparallax
03/1/2007 14:24 | Should also get last quarters production data soon. Will be interesting to see increases etc. The discrepancies in the figures last month between production and sales won't be there this month! | ![]() stuart14
03/1/2007 14:12 | Dom, I still think there is money to be made on AIM resource stocks, BUT, you have to be very careful. Don't listen to a word people write on BBs, do your own research, and ideally speak to the management at the Co directly first before investing any money. Masterman put so much spin on CSH it is no wonder so many got stuck in, and with posters on here taking that spin and adding their own this board was a minefield waiting to catch unsuspecting punters. I am staying well away from "Popular" stocks on advfn going forward, but still see value out there. If I can't get my money back on CSH this year i'll sell and use the loss to offset CGT gains elsewhere. O/T, how are you getting on with the X360? | ![]() stuart14
03/1/2007 14:00 | LOL From one w*nker (MM) to another (JT). Dec I've lost total faith too. Too many unprofessional AIM companies out there that do what they want, act totally irresponsibly (illegally in CSH's case imo) and don't give a damm about shareholders. All is lost at CSH and VOG, imo. PANR - jury still out and PRE (old bag of sh*te that i've had for years) is showing signs of life. 4 stocks that I hope to be totally out with by the end of 2007. NEVER again will I invest a penny in an AIM resource stock. From now on i'll stick to BP and the like. | ![]() domtheone
03/1/2007 12:51 | Lost a packet on this one so sold out and will make it all back and more on PET. | barkerman
03/1/2007 10:31 | gosh this has gone down even since i took my hit - i've lost all time for this sector :( | ![]() declan2
03/1/2007 09:50 | Indeed. It is absolutely undeniable (imo) that MM has destroyed CSH. He has lied (yes lied) on more than 1 occassion to shareholders/present If this was a reputable company instead of a good for nothing bordering on extinct AIM stock, he'd have been shown the door long ago. He has about as much credibility as those Enron guys and should (imo) face similar consequences as his actions have been criminal. | ![]() domtheone
03/1/2007 09:09 | Trouble is Space is that you know he's right though......... | ![]() badabing
03/1/2007 09:08 | Do I detect a hint of animosity towards MM - I would suggest that the time for that is long gone. | ![]() spaceparallax
02/1/2007 10:39 | Morning all. Happy new year to all sufferers. See the crooks are still in charge at CSH. No hope until MM is gone. Wouldn;t surprise me if he drives this company into the ground then initiates a MBO at 0.5p lol. Probably a copntract out on MM given how much cash he's fleeced off shareholders (individuals and institutions alike) I sincerely hope that MM is forced to resign come the next AGM. Crazy that major shareholders are prepared to let their investment turn to nothing. Which it will do during the course of 2007, imo. | ![]() domtheone |
