11/12/2019 10:21 | It's not one I've sold either (obviously). I did buy POG shares which seem to be doing well, but keep wondering about my NRR shares. I've kept my BVS shares as well. We'll see soon enough! | drradcliffe
11/12/2019 10:10 | Re CIR - largely a $ earner (or non-earner!) so inclined to agree. Isn't one I've sold this week ahead of the GE. Lab/SNP effect depends on how much of the 105-page unicorn manifesto gets approval from the SNP - possibly most, ex 4-day week. Not leaving EU - possibly good for growth. Scotland leaving UK - hmm. Most of Labour's insane spending plans, stealing 10% of listed co's (how many employees does CIR have?), 26% corporation tax, tax surcharge, nationalisations, abrogation of property rights, Marxism, borrowing binge, fiscal inanity - effect on CIR won't be nil, but doubt they'd stay listed here. | spectoacc
11/12/2019 10:05 | Benign effects of a labour led minority government... Using National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR)analysis the FT summarised the effect as 0.4% additional growth between 2020 and 2024 compared with 2.7% less growth over the same period under a Conservative government that completed Brexit. FT, Monday, page 3. Therefore a Labour led minority doesn't concern me from the p.o.v. of my CIR investment. | drradcliffe
