27/7/2016 12:44 | ROI is very arrogant and proud. If they offer a settlement they will need a scapegoat. I think they have the ideal candidate ?????? :-))))))) | debbiegee
27/7/2016 12:28 | It didn't go well for Mr Noor, I hope the damning forgery report officially exposes this crook. | neo26
27/7/2016 12:05 | He revoked our license to give it back to Prawabo a former owner who had allowed the license to lapse . When the license lapsed Ridlatama tendered and won the rights. We then partnered with Ridlatama and gradually aquired 100% of the license all stampeed and sealed by the correct authorities. When Noor gave the license back to Nusantara [Prawabo largest major shareholder} he was running for President of Indonesia and had promised Noor the Vice president position. Unfortunately for Noor Prawabo lost and Jokowi won. All in the History of CHL link in header | debbiegee
27/7/2016 11:52 | JNBRW (6533) Agreed. Actions always speak louder than words.... Especially when dealing with the likes of Mr Noor. :-) FC | flyingc
27/7/2016 11:48 | re: Mr Noors inconsistent approach it is extremely bizarre that the roi disrupted the course and timetable of the whole process in calling for a separate (extraordinary) hearing into specific forgery allegations - which at the time they were very melodramatically claiming to be the wronged and injured party. Yet when their key witness was called to expose this grave injustice and put right the wrongs they had suffered he was unable to attend. He was even to busy to appear on a video link for a few hours? | jnbrw
27/7/2016 10:42 | Reading old articles about Isran Noor it does picture him as a mad man, allegation after allegation against chl, but when it counted he chickened out. In one of his rants he even said chl over estimated resource jorc levels at the mines, aim market should know this he said. Pmsl at this.. Can't wait to see what the tribunal has to say about Mr Isran Noor in their report... He is definitely a fishy character.. | neo26
27/7/2016 09:58 | Sos100I hope oxs holder get compensation, thanks for the article.Back to chl, down on low volume. Let's hope chl and roi reach amicable settlement... | neo26
27/7/2016 08:01 | CHL still in the ascending channel formation | debbiegee
27/7/2016 07:10 | Neo 6527 lol now we know this Noor is a compulsive liar, ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ We have known that for years We probably posted the original article :-) Hopefully not long before he gets his comeuppence ! | debbiegee
27/7/2016 00:31 | hxxp://www.acnnewswi JAKARTA, Indonesia, Sept 24, 2012 "East Kutai Regency Head Isran Noor was surprised with the lawsuit filed by Churchill against the East Kutai Regency Government, because Churchill has never been registered as a company investing in East Kutai. He heard about Churchill in 2009, after the company announced that it had invested in the mining sector, and the second biggest coal reserve (potential) in East Kutai. In fact, the company has never been recorded by the Mining Office of the East Kutai Regency government. "If Churchill invested in the mining sector, where was the evidence?" Isran questions." -------------------- this article is from September 2012, now we know this Noor is a compulsive liar, it was proven that Churchill licenses were registered in the Log Book in the mining office in East Kutai. Icsid forced Roi to provide log book to churchill last year (2015) to check. Low and behold Churchill licenses were registered.... :)) | neo26
27/7/2016 00:20 | interesting, so Mr Hwang has been representing roi side at the Icsid, Maybe Stephen is right, Has Hwang resigned? "The Indonesian government has officially appointed an arbitrator to represent it in its dispute against Churchill Mining....... On Sunday 14 October 2012, the arbitrator approved his participation. We are appointing Michael Hwang from Singapore. The head of the tribunal is Gabriel Kaufman, while the date and timing for the opening session is awaiting the announcement of the ICSID,” said Isran." hxxp://strategicindo | neo26
26/7/2016 22:23 | also look at the number of people representing each side. "Oxus Gold is represented by Hamid G. Gharavi, Sergey Alekhin, Mercedeh Azeredo Da Silveira and Eloïse Obadia of Derains & Gharavi. Uzbekistan is represented by Carolyn Lamm, Andrea Menaker, Francis A. Vasquez Jr., G. William Currier, Brody Greenwald, Kristen Young, Matthew Drossos, Noor Davies, Chauncey Bratt, Nicolle Kownacki, Amara Levy-Moore, Larissa Eltsefon and Jennifer Ivers of White & Case LLP." Uzbekis believed they had a case judging by the amount of lawyers. | neo26
26/7/2016 22:15 | WilburIf you read this article, it blames oxs.http://www.law36 | neo26
26/7/2016 19:49 | As with Oxs there are unknown unknowns but there is much more that is known in the chl case. I think ROI will not be able to establish forgery which would require ICSID to find enough evidence to overcome the huge failure by ROI to provide docs requested and Noor. Noor did not just fail to turn up he behaved with contempt for the tribunal by saying he was 'too busy' for a video link. ICSID bent over backwards. I too think we will win but after OXs i am running out of farms to bet.... | pug151
26/7/2016 19:42 | only if chl win | pembury
26/7/2016 19:21 | wulber i wasnt part of the oxs, but i hear it was totally different scenario to chl. Roi's whole case relys on that the licenses chl hold are fake, Mr Noor could have easily come to the tribunal and confirmed this but he chickened out, he knows the truth. Mr Quinlivan has said we should walk past the authenticity phase and move onto merits of the case. Once authenticity phase is complete i am sure Roi wont challenge the claim and allow the tribunal to come up with reasonable compensation. The issue may arise from them paying up, eventually they will pay up. The directors are happy taking their complete wages in shares and this is a big positive. | neo26
26/7/2016 18:57 | Yes, could be jack shxx like OXS.Please, as much as holders expect a payout, it could be w/o too in these unscrupulous times! | wulber
26/7/2016 16:05 | In the end you cant deny the inevitable. Whichever way it goes :-) | debbiegee
26/7/2016 15:36 | I'm still surprised they had separate hearing for the "forgery", this could have easily be dealt with in the merit case." Delay Tactics" | neo26
26/7/2016 13:51 | Appreciate the quiet time as sooner or later outriders then the herd will appear and we will be missing each others posts. It looks like more or less those that wanted in before the herd are in and those that sold or had to sell are still waiting for the right time to get back in . Never mind ,enjoy lazy days :-) | debbiegee
26/7/2016 13:36 | OK Stephen, aug is not that far, let's see if there is a settlement.. But you have to remember if tribunal is giving leeway to roi to extend the verdict date, they (roi) are more or less implying they are guilty and this doesn't bode well for them in future of the case. I don't think this is the case but I can be wrong. But the good thing is we are all on the same side. Hoping chl does well... | neo26
26/7/2016 12:44 | It was the 3 months that threw me when Im sure anybody experienced with ICSID cases would have expected less time to have been announced for the result. 3-6 months being the time I would have thought practical for 2 sides to negotiate a deal. If however all we get is the result in September Im happy too [obviously Im confident of a positive result ] If we win we should see a good re-rating | debbiegee
26/7/2016 12:43 | Wow... not a lot of action today so far is there? : ) | siennadelekat21
26/7/2016 12:35 | Rns statement are by their very nature, legal documents, inasmuch as they MUST be correct and NOT misleading. Deliberation is what we do on this board, Tribunals do a forensic investigation/examin | stephen1946 |
