He revoked our license to give it back to Prawabo a former owner who had allowed the license to lapse .
When the license lapsed Ridlatama tendered and won the rights.
We then partnered with Ridlatama and gradually aquired 100% of the license all stampeed and sealed by the correct authorities.

When Noor gave the license back to Nusantara [Prawabo largest major shareholder} he was running for President of Indonesia and had promised Noor the Vice president position.
Unfortunately for Noor Prawabo lost and Jokowi won.

it is extremely bizarre that the roi disrupted the course and timetable of the whole process in calling for a separate (extraordinary) hearing into specific forgery allegations - which at the time they were very melodramatically claiming to be the wronged and injured party.


Yet when their key witness was called to expose this grave injustice and put right the wrongs they had suffered he was unable to attend. He was even to busy to appear on a video link for a few hours?

Reading old articles about Isran Noor it does picture him as a mad man, allegation after allegation against chl, but when it counted he chickened out.

In one of his rants he even said chl over estimated resource jorc levels at the mines, aim market should know this he said. Pmsl at this..

Can't wait to see what the tribunal has to say about Mr Isran Noor in their report...

He is definitely a fishy character..

this article is from September 2012, now we know this Noor is a compulsive liar, it was proven that Churchill licenses were registered in the Log Book in the mining office in East Kutai. Icsid forced Roi to provide log book to churchill last year (2015) to check. Low and behold Churchill licenses were registered.... :))

As with Oxs there are unknown unknowns but there is much more that is known in the chl case. I think ROI will not be able to establish forgery which would require ICSID to find enough evidence to overcome the huge failure by ROI to provide docs requested and Noor. Noor did not just fail to turn up he behaved with contempt for the tribunal by saying he was 'too busy' for a video link. ICSID bent over backwards. I too think we will win but after OXs i am running out of farms to bet....

i wasnt part of the oxs, but i hear it was totally different scenario to chl.

Roi's whole case relys on that the licenses chl hold are fake, Mr Noor could have easily come to the tribunal and confirmed this but he chickened out, he knows the truth.

Mr Quinlivan has said we should walk past the authenticity phase and move onto merits of the case. Once authenticity phase is complete i am sure Roi wont challenge the claim and allow the tribunal to come up with reasonable compensation. The issue may arise from them paying up, eventually they will pay up.

The directors are happy taking their complete wages in shares and this is a big positive.

Appreciate the quiet time as sooner or later outriders then the herd will appear and we will be missing each others posts.
It looks like more or less those that wanted in before the herd are in and those that sold or had to sell are still waiting for the right time to get back in .

OK Stephen, aug is not that far, let's see if there is a settlement..

But you have to remember if tribunal is giving leeway to roi to extend the verdict date, they (roi) are more or less implying they are guilty and this doesn't bode well for them in future of the case. I don't think this is the case but I can be wrong.

But the good thing is we are all on the same side. Hoping chl does well...

It was the 3 months that threw me when Im sure anybody experienced with ICSID cases would have expected less time to have been announced for the result.
3-6 months being the time I would have thought practical for 2 sides to negotiate a deal.
If however all we get is the result in September Im happy too
[obviously Im confident of a positive result ]

If we win we should see a good re-rating

Rns statement are by their very nature, legal documents, inasmuch as they MUST be correct and NOT misleading.

Deliberation is what we do on this board, Tribunals do a forensic investigation/examination, and get well paid for doing it, therefore, imho, if the tribunal are now chatting amongst themselves over a cup of tea, the real work is being done elsewhere, if i make myself clear?
