great work again Masarap

I copied your message and emailed him

Hi Richard

Do you support trade initiatives and the £1b credit facility for ROI whilst they are currently violating a UK / ROI treaty, namely the Bilateral Investment Treaty?

Do you intend to raise the issue of British listed company Churchill Mining with Mr Widodo given Churchill are direct 'victims' of this Treaty violation?

.....

Maybe everybody here should do the same and fill his inbox.

Ha ha ! (2906) I shall not enquire further....

There was a point to my request though - and it is this. The market cap is piddling in comparison to the stakes in the case. We all knew that of course, but useful to have it up there in black and white.

Personally I would be astonished if there weren't at least informal negotiations still ongoing. I just hope Mr Quinlivan & his colleagues don't sell us cheaply. You could hardly blame them if they were fed up with it all.

Clifford Chance should see them alright though - thank goodness we ditched the last crowd of lawyers.

Richard Graham MP, UK Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Indonesia will be prominent at the event with Joko Widodo. He's representing the PM so it will be useful to ask him :

Do you support trade initiatives and the £1b credit facility for ROI whilst they are currently violating a UK / ROI treaty, namely the Bilateral Investment Treaty?

It would also be useful to ask him : Do you intend to raise the issue of British listed ompany Churchill Mining with Mr Widodo given Churchill are direct 'victims' of this Treaty violation?

We may very well be at the end of the process that started in june 2012.

Speculation is rife concerning just why after all this time, ROI have decided they are not going to pay any more money into icsid.

Icsid rules are quite clear and as follows;
Icsid concilliation and arbitration is entirely voluntary, however, once the parties have consented to arbitration under the icsid convention, neither party can unilaterally withdraw its consent to comply.

What i cannot find are the penalties for unilaterally withdrawing, but its plain enough that its not allowed, therefore ROI have a game plan and that plan must bring the end of this process, imho.

Oxus knew their fate 2 days before publishing the details via RNS, just maybe both parties have reached an agreement and will choose an agreeable date when to publish, maybe wednesday is even more significant than any of us thought.

Debbie

Just while we wait would it be possible to add the company info to the header that includes the market cap of CHL ? It might serve as an "aide memoire" when it comes to thinking of any development there might be with an offer or judgement, .

Just a thought to try and improve it further - it looks great already.

Thanks

RiffraffNot expecting any decision from tribunal until end May/JuneWas merely stating that people are far too excited about this Wednesday

Hi Pat, as far as I am aware this wednesday is simply to try and smoke ROI out to state their position via the tribunal and to let them know CHL will make application to wrap the case up without considering the authenticity decision. I think ROI still have a right of reply before they ultimately lose the arbitration however?
Imagine ROI to come out before wednesday as ultimately they could be stalling the process and being a little recalcitrant at every opportunity.
The have also fought for 6 years..can we expect they will lie down now?
Have heard president wodowo is most likely hamstrung via IRO parliament regards making approach to settle with CHL on his visit and so is in UK solely on the other agendas.
Strange things can happen though.
COULD you please clarify your comment about final arbitration timing for wednesday regards the authenticity of docs please? My understanding is that the outstanding decision from the tribunal is still some time away..all be it not long ..within weeks?
Interested in others idea of the timing as well..just to make sure I am understanding the process
Apreciated!

Stephen all things are possible.
Until now whatever we thought of though they never failed to surprise us with their unimaginable next antic.
[lol would make a good book }
I think we are definatly in a better position than what we were in last week so the price should surely reflect that.

Debbie keeps mentioning 140p as price paid by a large shoulder but this was before the tribunal so it's irrelevantShe obviously bought at that price and is the price she wants to sell atPersonally I think roi will look to settle at less than 140p and I think we will be happy to accept 80/100p as loads of shares and warrants in issue now

AndyAgreed Debbie and her crew will trade it so hard to gauge what they really thinkBest here to put in what one can afford but take turns as there will be lots of twists and turns along the wayI don't think Wednesday is important but the short termers like Debbie and crew will trade it

pat,

Well if it gets into the 30's it'll attract shorters IMO, because there's only uncertainty in the current situation and Indonesia not paying, and why.

Is this a new tactic or are they withdrawing from the process totally? And if so, what can be done to make them participate, or pay up?

I only see confusion and uncertainty, and that's not a solid reason to buy now, IMO.

"Debbie" and co trade this IMO, so they'll talk it up and trade on that.

Debs, if 29.75 were bought instantly the price would indeed go ballistic, i am thinking more like a number of brokers drip feeding £m's over a number of weeks then ROI approach CHL with a decent offer. Just a thought.

Can anyone fill me in on what's happening here please? I've noticed some pressure building. Is there a leak or big news expected that people know of? Thinking of taking a punt subject to the strength of information provided. Realistic expectations of where this will rate to? Many thanks

stephen can you imagine the rise if ROI bought 29.75% of the shares ?
Surely not a good point to negotiate from ?
More likely [may have even happenned] short them and employ boiler room boys for a platform to negotiate from.

Our largest major holder paid over 140 for some of his.

1 of the last RNSs before the license was revoked was to say that the co were looking at how to finance going forward after the huge discovery
[7th largest in the world].
They were reviewing and weighing up what seemed to be perhaps several seperate offers and which would be better for the co and SH.
There were offers for JVs or to to buy parts of the co.

It is clear to see the highest price paid 147 [I think] but I wonder if they have anything in writing of what the suitors were prepared to offer ?
