13/4/2016 12:21 | If they thought they were going to win why wouldn't they just pay it? | pembury
13/4/2016 12:20 | To ensure the continued progress of the ICSID arbitration and enable the ICSID Tribunal to make its decision on Indonesia's Forgery Dismissal Application, at 9.13pm Washington DC time on 12 April 2016 and in the absence of any payment being received from Indonesia, Churchill paid Indonesia's share of the fifth advance. is this why they did the placing? | sos100
13/4/2016 12:19 | Some idiot sold 3 lots of 10K blocks. They could not have read the news. | tivoliworldgaming

13/4/2016 12:17 | Looks like game over Indonesia know they are going to lose so don't want to take part in arbitration processWhy heyGreat news for shareholders | patviera
13/4/2016 12:15 | Yep - agree this is a fantastic opportunity to fly. All looks good for CHL. Great buying volume on that RNS. Here we go. | oggyrocks
13/4/2016 12:14 | "It is strange that Indonesia has failed to pay its share of an advance payment requested by the Tribunal to cover the costs of deciding Indonesia's own application. But this is not the first time that Indonesia has been issued a default notice in this arbitration. What makes this time different is that Indonesia has not cured its default and has not offered any explanation or excuse for its failure to pay. In fact, Indonesia has not said or done anything in the arbitration since the fifth advance payment was requested two months ago. We are taking Indonesia's silence and failure to pay its share of the fifth advance payment as a sign that Indonesia may no longer wish to participate in the arbitration. It is too early to tell if this is the case, and our lawyers have written to clarify the situation. We will know by next Wednesday. However, if Indonesia does pull out, that will not stop the arbitration. Churchill remains committed to the resolution of its dispute with Indonesia through the ICSID process and will do whatever has to be done to ensure that the arbitration progresses to its natural conclusion." ENDS Is this the end? | sos100
13/4/2016 12:14 | Sir!Sir!Theyve not paid.Actually a waste of an rns.It may be relevant to the proceedings, but come on, is it really worthy of an rns?Just feels like an attrmpted price pumping rns from the company. They should inform of milestones, not resort to petty one-upmanship regarding late payment of arbitration fees. | apfindley
13/4/2016 12:13 | victory 100p+ | aimfollower
13/4/2016 12:13 | Wow Looks like Indonesia have thrown white towel inGreat news | patviera
13/4/2016 12:12 | Positive reaction to that news. Now we have something to comment on. CHL have paid Indo fees. Wow. This should start to get very interesting in the next weeks. | oggyrocks
13/4/2016 11:45 | Flying C I didnt challenge anyone to buy for expressing a positive view, i challenged him to buy for attacking my negative view. I have never attacked anyones positive view, i don't presume to know any more than anyone else. As for standing outside a bookies offering my wisdom to those placing a bet that their chosen horse or team is a loser ? I doubt i would be heard over those offering their wisdom that their horse is a winner :-) | blackss
13/4/2016 11:42 | Many of us here have been here a long time and waiting fr the end game. We are not interested in a 10 or 20% rise as some of the partimers are. I for 1 share any relevant news and am glad to read the same. I dont care if others buy or not. | debbiegee
13/4/2016 11:37 | What a bizarre thing to say oggy ? so i have to buy some to express an opinion ? I'm quite sure if i said this was going to fly then i would be welcome either way.:-) As for fatviera ? this is what he said last week "I've downgraded my fcr price tgt from 1p to 0.000005ps" he says :-) The FCR share price consequently doubled.... I appreciate that the point of these threads is to sucker people in to buy so you can sell at the highest price but i think we need to hear the pros and cons in order to make an informed decision whether people hold or not. | blackss
13/4/2016 11:30 | BlackSS (2067) Thanks for the reply. You are quite correct that you don't need to hold a position to have a point of view. But it might seem odd to many that you are taking so much time to read and post here if you haven't got any skin in the game. Your stance is not unlike standing outside the bookies and offering your wisdom to those placing a bet that their chosen horse or team is a loser. (Personally I am not squeamish about comparing a stake in CHL to gambling - it's a win or lose outcome). And if you consider it perfectly reasonable to be posting negative views on CHL without ever intending to take a position then you are a hypocrite for your one liners challenging others to buy when they express a positive view. But welcome anyway - it's a free country and in terms of the ADVFN rules you are, as you say, entitled to your view and you are entitled to post as you wish. Good luck with your other investments, whatever they may be. FC | flyingc
13/4/2016 11:08 | Why do people comment on shares when they have no position ? Do you not have a life ? Why not go the gym or do something with your life instead sitting in front of a PC ? Or even post on shares you own. Bizzare. | oggyrocks
13/4/2016 11:05 | Agree weegeordie. I have a fair holding here and have for a long time. I have topped up a couple of times over the years, but won't add any more here. If this hits £1.50+ then I would be very very happy. Obviously in negative territory for my position, but just waiting for the final decision. Not buying or selling - just holding. I tend to buy funds now as they work out better for me as I'm getting a bit older (churchill has aged me) !!! | oggyrocks
13/4/2016 11:03 | I agree with Debbie that we will rise into the 20s as we approach court rulingThe upside is too massive not to | patviera
13/4/2016 10:56 | Flying No i don't hold a position here and i have no intention of going long or short. Do i need to hold a position to have a point of view ? surely the most balanced opinions will come from those on the outside looking in. | blackss
13/4/2016 10:56 | only because there is no news. | weegeordie
13/4/2016 10:51 | Thats my point geordie "The piling in happens when the herd gets a sniff of news" While fatviera is calling this up to £1 and posting things like "buyers are lucky to get the opportunity to buy at all time lows with a Mkt cap at 20m with a valid claim for 1.3bn bucks" People are not piling in ;-) | blackss |
