Interesting trading today.

If I were to guess I would say that a clever market maker has persuaded a large holder to sell some stock to keep the price from going through the roof. I'm sure this happens from time to time on low volume and illiqid stocks, nevertheless it may mean a steady rise rather than a rapid ascent.

This remains an exciting and interesting stock and I'm sure it will reward holders in the weeks and months to come.

Yes this is looking better and better.

Some big buys have gone in recently and that tells a story....follow the money!!

With only 40 million shares in issue, many of which are in firm hands, this stock has a long way to go especially as Artificial Intelligence is the future. The management is another reassuring buy sign.

By September Catena will have acquired 30.2% of Insight Capital and have a mkt cap( at today’s sp) of around £25m.Insight will then be holding over £5m in cash to be used for further development.You only have to look at the cv’s of the employees of Insight to realise how special this company is.Now add in the Ceo of Catena with his experience(White House,MD of Credit Suisse and Pru) and ask yourself why he is bothering with such a small Aim listed company?He is obviously looking at the bigger picture and a probable rto.What mkt cap for a profitable company producing proprietary AI tools to be used by the financial sector ?

Plenty of buys have gone through during the past three trading days as more people realise the potential of this stock.

I am quite confident here and am waiting patiently for the important news which should be announced in September.

I’m also aware that Artificial Intelligence is the future.

Indeed, an excellent update. Insight is clearly on a high growth track to become a substantial force.

Coupled with the change of broker, I wonder if we're preparing to raise a chunk of equity to help with the cost of getting the extra Insight shares in early September. I hope so - I would think that any trek around the City to garner institutional support for a placing would have a very positive effect given the exciting Insight story. Any efforts to buy decent chunks in the market would probably have little success - apart from driving the price upwards sharply!

Our period of patience may well be coming to an end in the next few weeks.

Good volume with several decent buys at 50p.AI is the future and will play an even larger role in our lives over the next decade in conjunction with the role out of 5G...Looks like the board of Catena have pulled off a great deal by securing 30.2% of Insight at a £16.5m overall valuation.Chessman , I agree £1 by end of September is quite likely and if there is an rto then expect the share price to go much higher...

I guess the MMs must now be very short of stock as a result of two good buys of 20,000 and 21,000 today.

The trades appear to be one way as more astute investors realise the potential of this stock. In fact more than twice as many buys as sells. Fortunately we are not attracting day traders. I remain a long term holder.

It is looking like we will hit 100p before the St Leger in September; who knows how we will prosper thereafter?

Chessman.Savvy investors are getting onboard before corporate news.If they get it right then looking at multiples of the present share price Look how well Renalytix has rewarded its investors.

ltinvestor, many thanks for your post as it summarises the future and confirms that CTNA is the way forward.

New investors should be aware that CTNA only have 40m shares in issue and that most are very closely held. The normal market size is 3,000 which means that an investor who wishes to purchase say 10 or 20,000 shares will inevitably push the price up.

I suspect we will see a rerating when the next RNS is issued.
