Take a look at ECRs drilling report today. XRF analysis on site, cores off to labs, results due in two weeks.

Because these days they can assay on site, then send the cores off to the independent lab for confirmation.

They know what they've got.

They were looking to prove the concept, not prove up a huge new discovery. To prove up a new discovery they need to focus drilling on one area and prove connectivity between holes, and until they do that each hole is merely interesting, but could be annomolous until further drilling is undertaken. They already know that copper is there from previously mined areas, already discovered by predicessors.

MF is correct to say no huge new discovery will be announced post assays, it can't be, but that's why they are so keen to drill extensively in spring and summer, to get a huge new discovery booked.

Yes, a bit surprising but welcome.
Hope it indicates that something's happening behind the scenes.
It has now been so long since that interview that I can't see how anything was really known definitively about the assays at that point.

Looks like it has bounced off the uptrend line (for the 5th time) that has been in place since March 2020, which is positive

Definitely seem to be bumping along at the bottom at the moment, wouldn't take much to move this higher now. 12p seems to be some kind of floor.

Pran,
Thanks for that. I accept that I may be mistaken and truly hope that I am proved wrong to doubt him.
I say again, not only that I may be wrong but also that I can forgive a mistake.
If I am wrong, I hope he can forgive my mistake.

Excell Martin is one of the most honest people you will meet so I will take issue with that, the interview was honest but in the coming months you will be singing his praises of that I have no doubt

Not confident of the CEO is more accurate.

I believe in the concept, there is clearly a vast sea of shallow high grade copper in those mountains, and up until now only exposed outcrops have been exploited.

It follows that the VMS deposits extends under the surrounding hills, and that some VMS deposits may either overlap or be in close proximity to each other.

The proof is in those assays.

We may not have hit sweet spot, or drilled enough to declare a new large discovery, but there will be data in there that proves the concept and gives grades and intervals, tho perhaps not connectivity.

I think MF is a puppet for the HNW puppet masters, and I think his integrity is very suspect.

Just my opinion, but can I be any more clear on how upset I am with how this has been handled?

Am I being unreasonable?

Now, MF looks to have dropped a clanger, but maybe I'm wrong, or maybe I can forgive one mistake, we'll have to wait and see what the truth is.

He actually used the words "I don't want people buying our shares.,,"

"Thinking"

"We're going to announce a ...discovery"

"Then be disappointed"

And he said this in December, two months before assays are now expected to be released!

Whoop whoop for doc holiday...

75% of our 117m fully diluted share capital is held by HNW mining investors

That's "High Net Worth"...

75% of £12m between them doesn't sound like "RICH" to me. Sounds like pocket money. Laughable really. "Follow the money" they say, but this isn't money, it's peanuts.

Come on then big boys, show us the money, if it's even there...

Most resource stocks have enjoyed a bull run since last May, but the last month or two has seen a peak and pull back, but the sector is perched on a point where if it drops lower would indicate a reversal, or if we rise from here then it will indicate continuation of the up trend.

Which will it be, and how will CHF perform amid this?
