I was expecting 8500 as posted here. But one thing expect as an analyst and another as a trader. A trader gives a monekys about what should have been.
September 16-17th are key dates. If you think its going up then up to those dates it will keep doing it. Personally I hope it flattens till then but chances are of a blow up to 9789 until the 16th Sept. then back a little by comparison.

NO I am short.And a very happy man if it goes to 9k. Why did the peaks of December and Jan 09 did not stop it? Why should wait and retrace back here? Why should the FED let is go back instead of closing the gap just above it?

it tells me I should probably stick to my guns and keep my Dow 9620 short open until at least 9000. what do u think then andonis, are you long?

Note the target is undoubtedly 10.3k. This is 50% retrace from the all time high to the low of 5th March 09. See that 50% retrace for both Fibs fits nicely to the target....

Lets see if this makes any sense. The cycles show the MAX on the DOW has been....I wonder what today will bring, if it will go over the maximum!

FTSE is doing fine. Anything above this level does not allow the Elliott Waves to be Bearish. I mean that this downward move would be ABC and we have seen the minimum already. Chances are with the DOw opening soon this will rocket up even higher and a bullish situation arises. FTSE will soon be over 5000 if this rockets up further today.

DOW +154 points losses 29 points

Have we hit the top for a few months? YES. This is why the Nikei, the Dow and FTSE are falling...

I think the DOW may have no choice but to come down to 8500 in October 12th-ish
