Hi f11,

I agree with you regarding HRT. In addition to the truth, we may get some positive hyperbole from HRT too ... that would counterbalance the silence from Chariot HQ.

LB's pre close statement was quite positive. Let's see if he sticks to his own timetable.

Back to more waiting then .... ho hum.

triples,

HRT have yet to announce their second farm out partner--BP?

That will be interesting.

HRT badly need a DRILL SUCCESS in Namibia,so we should get the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

If we remain at these levels(doubt it)on the run up to the HRT drill, then a duster will have little effect imo,but if we are back above £1 pre drill then obviously there is EXPECTATION built in,so a drop back would more than likely occur, derisk pre drill imo, maybe take your stake out?Let the rest run for a successful DRILL.

CHAR have stated there is no problem farming out the CENTRALS,so no cash needed at the moment for CHAR.

f11,

"Cos FARMING in after NIMROD says they ALL know more positives than we know right now."

I don't think GALP have as much of their portfolio at risk in Namibia as I have ...

"will wait and wait and wait again"

Sound advice and that's the bit that I have been good at so far, but it's four months since the Nimrod duster...

Who'd have predicted such a static share price since then?

I guess my concern is that there may be no rise to derisk into and we go lower than now if HRT are unsuccessful with drill 1 (likely) and drill 2 (likely)

I am not sure how much our cash will protect us, and without a CEO cheering us on, we face becoming a very much unwanted child - as far as the market is concerned. This may be exactly what the big boys want.

Triples,

lets hope HRT are no trojan horse for a super major. So far they don't appear to be.

Nimrod told CHAR/Partners more than they are letting on IMO and that in a changed non optimal drill location.

IMO there are absolute Billions of barrels of oil for the taking in NAMIBIA and they know it.

As always its the dirty oil game,so you have to look beyond the news thats announced to get a clearer view.Cos FARMING in after NIMROD says they ALL know more positives than we know right now.Thats why I have invested here and will wait and wait and wait again.

vwnige,

I would expect a run up to the HRT drill.Look at the run up to Chars last drills.

Buying so low would mean that holders could derisk a few quid should they so wish should there be a decent rise in price pre HRT drill. But I will assess when I see what rise we are looking at first.

Good Luck.Namibia,Morocco and Mauritanian acreages, all valued at less than ZERO.

Here's a pic for those who are not sure why the news re: HRT's rig being mobilised in Namibia is so important. Look where CHAR's licences are in relation to HRT's - As mentioned above, if HRT hit oil the value of CHAR's licences will explode (because they are neighbours if it has not already sunk in). CHAR do not even have to do anything, just sit and wait. Speculation alone could treble CHAR's share price from it's current position.

Fairenough..

Very good post and a good plan ..

I am very inexperienced in oilies, i invested here becaus of the drills in the area this year, the cash position and the bombed out share price .

From my inexperienced eye it looks to me that there is a delay for a very good reason, the end of year RNS was quite upbeat and so we just have to be patient..

Do you expect a rise in he run up to the first HRT drill ?

the share price barely covers cash,so nothing in for any success.Odds on there are Billions of barrels of oil in Namibia and HRT have a very good chance of hitting pay dirt imo.Lets visualize success for HRT.

HRT hit commercial Oil

Namibian acreage soars in value

Char farm out CENTRALS for a kings ransom

Char share price back to highs of £3+

Char hit Oil in Centrals

BP buy Char for £10/£20 A SHARE.

We all sail off into the sunset with our bags of cash.

all imo.

It's just taking soooooooooo long.... I look at the amount of money I have invested here and think what 10% or 20% across the past 4 months would now look like.

There is value here and I hope we don't get shafted if HRT's first couple of wells aren't sufficiently positive.

triples,

none of the usual traders pumping up an inflated share price You know you are buying at rock bottom here with nothing hyped up.Thats the way I like it and I can wait for HRT/Tullow to bring the bacon home and then FARM OUT the Centrals at higher prices.

What I find odd is that there is absolutely no one posting on the boards here and elsewhere that has an inside track on any info... all PIs are completely in the dark. This leaves a huge space for far-out speculation both up and down.

And then we get the odd RNS. The pre close one was all very sweet and apple-pie, but the Mauritania one the other day - what was that about? It just seemed to say that Chariot was still out shopping and don't expect anything very soon re Mauritania (and by dint, Morocco).

At least PW was more upbeat and outward facing. LB's appointment is a concern.

Its driving everyone bonkers.. The market just makes no sense..We just have to wait it out... There was a broker downgrade yesterday saying sell with target 26p, so basically saying the company is worth only the future cash that they will have left.. Y yesterday? Given all the activity coming up in Namibia in just over a month, and all the updates due here this quarter this has to be a buy surely?
