19/2/2010 12:02 | The big question is will Friday be a reversal day, or will the market wait till Monday or later next week? If a reversal is on it should occur within the next 4 trading days (off TA) China has had its New Year, its markets closed this week. A big push up is usual before reversal (no news), or it could just fall off if bad News hits. The market is very choppy, its not been trending as it normally does so be careful. Yesterday the Dow attempted to resume its upward trend, it should try to follow through today. A strong up day could surprise many, it cannot be ruled out. The Fed broke its surprise news after the bell, ( raises discount rate to 0.75% from 0.5%) it's noteworthy that it didn't announce this in its FOMC report, instead surprising the markets! Am long myself from this morning (10334) | ![]() axe79

18/2/2010 08:14 | Chestnuts totally agree. Nav, tpaul. As far as the count is concerned, tpaul probably had some stick about it thats why he refuses to post such counts. As far as me ignoring tpauls suggestions he is right I ignore them because he makes no suggestions, he simply says that I am wrong. Well people must realise that we all make mistakes and the problem is not the mistake, but the fear of making a mistake. As a result people are inhibited. So. Keep posting get the stick from others thats how you learn and others learn from it. We must all realise that often there is not ONE possible solution for EW. Not that there are many correct counts, at the end there is one solution the one the market chooses, but at that time it has two possibilities which are valid or maybe valid. In due course which one is THE RIGHT one will be revealed by the market. So it is healthy to have divergence of opinions and arguments. But issues such as my duck is bigger than yours are silly. | ![]() andonis
18/2/2010 03:15 | If you dont think my pointers are of use Nav your more than welcome to ignore them, it wouldnt be something new on here :) How many times have I repeated my stance on putting out my work now? You'll learn nothing by copying. As Ando says, its a secret ;) fib retraces from zero eh Chesty. Have never needed to consider that. Got any examples of it being of practical use? I think I'll leave you to it :) | tpaulbeaumont
