18/2/2023 18:46 | Hoping for a 120-125p level by end of March 23 - d.y.o.r - That will make it an approx 8b market cap, still vastly undervalued on its numbers and cash balance compared with its peers. Unfortunately for CNA, however well it performs, it will receive poor press and negativity, I see energy costs will remain higher for the next few years. Good Luck all. | fishboy

18/2/2023 09:31 | FWIW Seems it has to first break thru 106p before moving up towards 120p Resistance | misca2
18/2/2023 09:24 | Hi any idea if this will break out to say 125 to 150 good to see it pass 105p at long last The PE is 3 and assume they make good profits this year as well pity they got the UK retail Gas company as that must hold it back thks in advance | mrthomas
16/2/2023 19:47 | Thanks guys. The thing that annoys me more than anything is I am internet savvy and know how these things work but others particularly older people my Dad as an example would not have a chance of getting this sorted on their own and would have had £3000 taken from their account. I don't think BG deliberately go out of their way to give such poor customer service but I question how seriously they take it and whether they even acknowledge there is an issue that needs fixing.I have never been asked to rate the service I have received as you usually get with other companies. Anyway will shut up about it now I wish you well with your shares. | tim 3
16/2/2023 18:52 | Great news Tim, glad your persistence paid off in the end although of course they shouldn't have put you through that in the first place given the circumstances. The problem is clearly how they operate their SA call centre, certainly there is very significant room for improvement there. | bountyhunter
16/2/2023 18:15 | Tim. Must admit I'm a CNA Shareholder, stories like yours make me wonder if it's actually worth it tbh.... Glad it looks like you have the issue sorted. | jason29
16/2/2023 14:34 | Just to add bill has gone from £3000 debit to £300 credit! | tim 3
16/2/2023 11:19 | Careful, too true. Maybe not a long term hold depending on how the politics pan out. 2p FD XD 9 June. | bountyhunter
16/2/2023 11:16 | Tim, a work colleague also has an ongoing battle with them so this is a common scenario unfortunately. Your story is particularly galling and I hope it is soon resolved. As the default provider for many they seem happy to just sit on their haunches and rake it in. At least we can get some back here! | bountyhunter
16/2/2023 11:09 | The big risk here is political. What political points Starmer will score when he bangs on about grotesque profits whilst ordinary people struggle to survive. He will threaten to do something, and it will be a very popular vote winner. Centrica's long term gas contracts have served them well when prices rocketed, bankrupting small cowboy suppliers who relied upon lower short term prices to undercut. But is that about to change as gas prices fall? leading to a re emergence of smaller cheaper supplier out for a quick buck? Ridiculously cheap based upon todays results, but doubts about what happens next is holding the price back. | careful
16/2/2023 11:06 | Tim, request a dead lock letter, that leaves you free to go to the ombudsman. An ombudsman complaint costs a company £750. Once you request that letter you will likely deal with a customer relations team rather than the standard customer contact centre. Good luck. | essentialinvestor
16/2/2023 10:49 | Exactly bounty. Will not bore you with my story but basically after losing Dad in July they refuse to accept the house is empty despite following their instructions to send photo evidence of the meter reading. They are threatening me with £3000 plus bills despite them actually owing me money. The South African operation is beyond incompetent a lot of the correspondence I have received does not even make sense. Will probably end up at the ombudsman | tim 3
16/2/2023 09:52 | 100p is achived. Next i expect 120p atleat. Keeping my fingure crossed. | action
16/2/2023 09:44 | Hate em but I'm happy to get some of my money back on their shares. Are you a happy BG customer? If so you are the first one I have come across! Ever tried phoning their customer "service"? They even gave me a goodwill payment once for their mistake then at a subsequently date recalculated my bill and the goodwill payment had disappeared! I couldn't be bothered wasting hours of my time following up. | bountyhunter
16/2/2023 09:38 | Bounty make your mind up,love them buy the share,hate them don't | scemer
16/2/2023 09:26 | Absolutely, I was dumped on them over a year ago when my supplier went bust and their customer service is a complete waste of time. They make money from the masses who are on them by default or have been dumped on them like me! Also they have upstream which helps a lot and presumably are raking it in from Government top-ups as well. | bountyhunter
16/2/2023 09:09 | Maybe they should consider using some of that money to improve customer service rather than sub contracting it out to call centres half way across the world in South Africa who seem incapable of sorting the most basic of problems. | tim 3
16/2/2023 08:51 | Good to get a bit of BGs profits on my gas bills back. | bountyhunter
16/2/2023 08:49 | Its currently @400. | skinny
16/2/2023 08:49 | 400 is good. | bountyhunter |
