25/4/2014 16:22 | I started a few years ago with rbs.. I felt on top of the world when my gamble paid off and I made £500 odd in a few weeks.See myself as a complete beginner tbh. Trying to study and get myself involved more and try to learn as much as possible.Any advice? | nabzi786
25/4/2014 07:35 | My first share was BT in 1984. I remember being terrified my £200 investment would go down. But then, of course, it just kept going upand I screamed at my sister that I'd made £20 in one day for doing nothing. Never looked back.My biggsst win was £42k from a company called Landround. Biggest loss £13k playing the ftse against the DOW.How about you? | mitchy
25/4/2014 06:58 | Just out of interest mitchy how long have you been trading for? | nabzi786
24/4/2014 19:19 | Lovely little late surge at the end. Had my hands full with gsk and barc today but keeping my eye on proceedings. | supermarky
24/4/2014 17:29 | Hargreaves have 11 brokers giving :- 1 sell 5 hold 1 buy 4 strong buy | mitchy
24/4/2014 17:20 | closer inspection of the charts suggests the circled area where the top of the up trend wasn't quite reached which suggests it's not going to reach 350 in the short term.It did reach 349 but didn't finish at that mark .Circa 346/8 looks more like the new head of the range now. We kept within the uptrend today, important, but mostly it just kept pace with the market for the most part. Though it was very perky when did eventually go up. More sellers than buyers today again but that looks to be ready to change so we can continue back up. Support still at 306/8. Good Luck. | mitchy
24/4/2014 08:20 | Mitchy - I think this share price is difficult to predict. You say it is range-trading and on an upward trend. Just had a look at the 12 month chart. Last time it went ex div (late Sept 13), it went down and carried on further down. I hope it is on an upward trend. | m4rtinu
24/4/2014 07:55 | Buyers starting to out number sellers after divi. Last chance to get back in before rise back up to 350.All in my very humble opinion..no ramp intended..;) | mitchy

23/4/2014 23:01 | Quite right. They're all the same but at least government are accountable for the garbage, the self serving garbage, they speak. So they have to temper it with some reality. Plus they want those high paid freeby board seats at the likes of Centrica when they leave office. | mitchy
23/4/2014 19:32 | You don,t think g,osborne is doing the same then???well allthe best dream on?? | bristlelad
23/4/2014 17:17 | To me it looks like the uptrend will continue with the buy backs once the carpet baggers have had their fill. It could also retrace to 306/8 and stay within the trading range the charts are suggesting to me. Can't believe political interference is going to be an issue now but who knows. Labour are hungry for votes and they are capable of destroying anything to that end. Good Luck. | mitchy
23/4/2014 14:16 | Recent press articles on the subject of FRACKING appeared to stimulate some smaller stocks. The high cost of exploration may see some of these, (if unsuccessful) running out of funds, classing them as SPECULATIVE. The ones that find marketable amounts of SHALE GASS should do well. Centrica may be a safer punt (although less spectacular) way to having an interest in this predicted new new energy source. | w.bramley
23/4/2014 13:59 | I'm thinking CNA is going to behave somewhat like the post office ipo. There will be some selling initially followed by a nice riseback to circa 350....possibly higher. I'll do a chart tonight which should show the uptrend continuing . The share buy backshave still got a long way to go and im expecting some positive news to bolster the share price followed by brokerupgrades. There's still a trading range between 306 and 350 in my opinion and I'll include that in my analysis. | mitchy
23/4/2014 13:12 | If I buy it will rocket straight up to 350! Only kidding | supermarky
23/4/2014 11:42 | XD today.. | rik shaw
23/4/2014 11:18 | Oh yea of little faith. This is an opportunity to buy.We are at the bottom of the up trend. It will go from here back up to 350..trust me i'm a financial genius..ahem! | mitchy
23/4/2014 08:19 | I am waiting to see how the land lies. Not in a rush. Cash on sidelines. | supermarky
23/4/2014 07:20 | 329 looks like a good place to start adding. | mitchy
22/4/2014 19:48 | Good luck mitchy. I wonder if it will drop much more than 12.08p in the morning? I am all out for the moment and presume lots bought in for the payout. Am still aware of cna charms at this level even after xd. | supermarky
22/4/2014 15:46 | Still holding for 350.. | mitchy
22/4/2014 15:44 | Still holding from 333 where it should open tomorrow but with divi now. Looking to add tomorrow morning for the anticipated bounce. Good Luck | mitchy
