Shell is, and always has been, a truly world class company.

If the share price drops below £10 as some above suggest, then that would present a great long term buy and hold opportunity.

I remain on the side-lines here for now, but look forward to adding back into my portfolio when visibility on gearing hopefully improves in future quarters after Q3.

(MT Newswires) -- Centrica's (CNA.L) British Gas engineers rejected a revised offer from the company and went on another four-day strike on Friday.

The GMB Union said the same day that over 75% of gas and electrical engineers voted against the deal after the company declined to withdraw its fire and rehire plan.

The engineers will continue the strike until March 8, taking the total number of days on strike to 30.

“British Gas' fire and rehire plan is the main obstacle to members accepting a deal – they need to remove it now if we are to progress," the union's National Secretary Justin Bowden said.

Centrica's shares were up almost 1% on Friday midday.

The engineers have spoke now the ceo needs to listen and back down with threats. Sadly 400 apprentices were promised 2 years ago only 48 arrived apparently. The employees have no faith in the company and wont trust them anymore
