OPEC+ POLICY: The group held an informal chat today. After a couple of hours of talks (only a small group of ministers), there wasn't consensus on whether to delay the output hike scheduled for Jan. Talks to continue Mon and Tue with all ministers |

BLOOMBERG - The U.K. is poised to become the first country to approve Pfizer Inc. and BioNTech SE’s Covid-19 vaccine, ahead of a long line of countries waiting for protection from the coronavirus.

Clearance is possible as early as this week, according to a person familiar with the situation, who asked not to be identified because the process is confidential.

The U.K. had long signaled it would move fast on any promising vaccine candidate, and British doctors have been put on standby for a possible rollout before Christmas. Russia and China have cleared vaccines for general use, but they’re unlikely to be adopted in the U.S. and Europe.

The British government last week invoked a special rule allowing its drug regulator to bypass the European Union counterpart as the country prepares for the Brexit transition period to conclude at the end of this year. And the U.K.’s Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency has started its own accelerated review.

Emotionally attached to the juicy divi maybe that was paying me £18k a year at one time. Once that had gone the wheels did fall off my wagon.
As for staying around I still have my ISA holding so am interested to see where we will end up with that.
I must congratulate you though as that was your first post that you have nit called me a pathetic clown.....a common trait it seems of yours as you use the same derogatory term to folk over on the Lloy and IAG group from what I can see.
Maybe in the future you should start to respect your fellow investors and realise that we are all capable of making bad decisions like I did when I bought this pig.

Cleverinvestor........CNA was part of my life for 5 years, always nice to monitor what still goes with it....I sold at a huge loss but it is nice to know if I made the right move or not. I salvaged £85K from my investments here.....in a years time I will know if I made the right move by topping up in CCL, IAG, SAGA, NCYT and TUI.
I may be mad but looking for a 100% gain in those shares over the next year.
Would I have been better staying in CNA, only time will tell......are you expecting CNA to be 95p in a year? Maybe so but something needs to change drastically in the company for that to be achieved. Anyway good luck whatever you choose.

Cleverinvestor......that makes you 30% up, well done, one thing I have learnt in iver 40 years of investing is dont get too greedy, especially in these crazy times....a profit is only a profit once it is banked. Why not take your £3 profit now.....that paper round money is hard earned and should not be thrown away. If you wait for that RNS you MAY make another 10% but if the news is not what is expected you could lose the lot.

Cleverinvestor......maybe time you admitted you are not that smart.....slagging off my travel investments, where did my CCL go today? Where did your CNA go? As I keep saying lets come back in a year. If CNA continues to sell off all its silverware there will be little left of the company. But I wish you all the best and hopefully one day soon you will get the RNS that you have waited so long for. Good luck.
