75p in a few weeks or so, give or take a few months/years and depending on everything being relatively favourable. Failing that anything less than 20p applies with usual caveats as per TA guru rules.

In a detailed figure-crunching published on Wednesday, analysts at Jefferies estimated that power demand among Centrica’s business customers could fall by 7pc across the year if the lockdown lasts until mid-June, and bad debts could increase by 2.5pc, leading to a £200m profit hit. “Overall, Centrica might be able to hang onto its rating for now,” Jefferies said, “but we see risks skewed to the downside.”

With debts of £3.1bn, Centrica is slashing spending by about £400m, cancelling bonus payments,

and the proposed final 2019 dividend payment of 3.5p per share.

Let's hope this develops into something worthwhile in years to come:

Centrica, the parent company of British Gas, and British motor manufacturer Lotus are working together to develop a new model for electric vehicle ownership that fully integrates future mobility and energy.

Latest dividend

On 2 April 2020 Centrica announced that the Board had taken the prudent decision to cancel the 2019 final dividend payment of 3.5p per share, due to be paid in June 2020.

TESLA spend about £1.2bn per year on R&D and they are streets ahead in terms of EV development. I imagine Lotus are laughing all the way to the bank, no wonder this has been taking a fall since the news, zero details around financial impact just the usual management / PR speak.

There are plenty of "Excess deaths" way above the norm Careful.

And this drivel about not including elderly in care homes is laughable.
That'd take out ALL annual flu victims if you exclude the elderly making Covid-19 far far worse on that basis alone.

You are complacent at your own peril.
