18/9/2011 12:19 | Norbert, Yep the share price is in a sorry state. Hopefully in a few days i will able to be more specific on my views. And also hopefully in the Interims we will get to the bottom of a few issues that may be causing the sell off of late. | lyonst5
03/9/2011 11:58 | RB1206, Dont worry i'm still here ;) I dont want to interrupt our seller thats all, who is doing a fine job of making a dogs dinner of selling down his position. Wake me when he's finished. | lyonst5
02/9/2011 18:03 | davy: Seller....It cant be u as u are the one who is asking that leaves, Lyonst, he topped up after AGM, so cant think why he would of load now. That Leaves Thomas and KIOP, so it has to be one of them, which one, only time will tell. Lyonst being very quiet lately, I wonder why.............. | rb1206
02/9/2011 17:32 | Once again, i'll ask. Can anyone give a value for this company based on earnings? It has lost two thirds of its value since the last results. I used to be able to do a projected value. But no longer. This is a pure punt now. And the lot depends on CAH. The UK business is contracting. | topgunns
02/9/2011 16:54 | Almost certainly a buy IMHO and why the MMs were quite happy to take shares on board. DYOR, etc. | trixter
02/9/2011 16:40 | 500,000 at 1.35p went through late on PLUS, but can't tell if it's a delayed sale from earlier, or a buyer picking up most of the earlier sales. | davydoo
02/9/2011 13:45 | Wow, almost time for me to take a punt. But as they say, never catch a falling knife. | topgunns
02/9/2011 13:42 | This seller is nuts, not to be selling, thats up to them, but in the way they are doing it. Selling at 1.2p now, when im sure they could have achieved a better price had they approached the company, broker or other major holders about placing the whole lot. Also, where are the new holding announcements, as lower thresholds are crossed? | davydoo
25/8/2011 17:18 | Trixter, The new adult phone chat guidelines have not been discussed, which surprises me. What are your views on them and the impact they will have on the UK business going forward? | the analyst
25/8/2011 17:17 | Hi trixter, Yes, I used to hold CLTV and made a fantastic profit on the investment. Also, yes, used to hold MDC and made a great profit there too I don't hold either of them any more. Sold out of both a long time ago. I do still look in on these shares when there is news or a big movement in the share price. Mainly to see if any of the investors have spotted any hidden value, to see if I was right to have sold up such a long time ago, to see if it would be worth re-investing. In this case, I seem to have made the right decision to have sold up, despite the apparent 'hidden' value in CAH. Having seen the share price fall, I am wondering whether the value in CAH now outweighs the negative prospects of the UK business. But, there is also the added risk of the track record of the Directors and the new regulations, which puts me off investing. I'm still interested in hearing the bull case, though, in case I am missing something. | the analyst
25/8/2011 16:46 | Nearly 4% of the company was traded today, but who was buying and who was selling? | davydoo
25/8/2011 16:33 | he is a bit of a simpleton 'the analyst' | schrodingers_cat
25/8/2011 15:43 | Long term (2 yr) share price performance here very similar to MDC check it out - and 'the analyst' (who appeared here today after a very long absence!) set the fbb up there as well! | trixter
25/8/2011 15:13 | ..well you can still sell 500,000 online...very surprising... | trixter
25/8/2011 14:58 | 'We do however expect some erosion of margins in the second half of 2011, a result of emerging competition and the increasing cost of bandwidth.' 'Given that we have successfully secured distribution of our services across the key digital platforms in the UK, we see limited growth in TV-derived revenues in the domestic market' | topgunns
25/8/2011 12:59 | added some, but not overly confident | mister md
25/8/2011 12:27 | wonder if the following still applies ? was only 2months ago !! "Outlook At the end of March 2011, the group had experienced 12 consecutive months of operating profit in the UK. The Board recognises the efforts of management and staff and looks forward to a continuation of this trend, with a return to full year profitability in 2011. " | mister md
25/8/2011 12:08 | Given the rate of fall, you've got to expect a bounce followed by 1p or even less. Horrible to see this at these levels | topgunns
25/8/2011 11:46 | bid and offer all over the place....! | trixter
25/8/2011 11:40 | Certianly seems to be a buyer out there which is all very strange. | guru |
