Hi Buffy

It's still 50/50 for me.

Am I feeling lucky?

In general I'm a glass half half type of guy so I'll go with a "yes"

The hope for my £750 punt coming good is that a deal is done which dilutes equity holders at a price around the 30th Sept before the 'potential transaction' was announced.... 1p -1.6p

If the equity investment goes ahead, the enlarged equity will have to be worth $50m no matter what, so the finer detail of the conversion is down to managements ability to negotiate something for themselves/other current holders

On the downside, financial negotiations have so far been their weakness.

Still surprised they couldn't find a buyer for the business given they also have sizeable deferred tax assets which would be valuable for a profit making buyer.

Hi 1628,

You've got to ask yourself one question. Do I feel lucky?

Well, do ya punk?

Sleveen,

Depending on when the shares were bought, 1,000,000 could be bought for under £5,000!

Pity the fool who had more than ten times that and didn't sell at 25p...

Wow they have added another £30m in MCAP since I posted, crazy stuff. Just been readiness the board and it to seems be in a parallel universe to my oil portfolio.

Mark, I saw your post and assumed that this was a US company but I see it is aim listed with a market cap of £132m!!
Admittedly, and perhaps crucially, the company has no debt and has cash to drill this and another well (50% interest)but never the less there would appear to be a massive mis match between them and Caza.
Caza has a fully diluted market cap PLUS debt of £32m so in theory you could pay off Caza's debt AND buy all 300m shares (fully diluted) for £32m.
Obviously things don't work out like that but it does show how strange things have become.
None of the above can be of any real comfort to current Caza shareholders other than it does suggest that there is some appetite for investment in these companies.

Not me.

Someone has sold their earlier £750 CAZA buy. It wasn't me. Mine was the 147500 trade. I've held on here until the close!

Hard to believe that 147500 shares would have sold for £30K last summer!

I thought you might have done, given it's up today.

No. I'm waiting for clarification on this new investor and what they intend to buy.

The loan terms have locked them out of fresh cash at the moment (based on the ratios) so the key is the new investor I feel

Have you bought back into EDG?

Yep that's a strong possibility. They should have done that on 1st October IMO.

With management owning a decent % though, there is a chance the dilution will be linked to the share price prior to the 1st Oct announcement given that was when the 'potential transaction' was announced.

Like I say though it's a £750 gamble for me. CAZA has given me a decent profit over the years so happy to have a punt for old times sake from those profits

I expect an RNS stating:

Suspension pending clarification of the company's financial position.

Thanks Sleveen

I'm thinking we may have an update tomorrow morning given they had until 31/10.

Either Apollo agree an extension or its D Day

Question is, was that my last ever CAZA trade?

Luks as though existing shareholders will b diluted away to practically nothing, but the BOD will keep their jobs (& Salaries). More chrony capitalism. Always wondered why a US company would want to only list on AIM in the UK. Answer, there are more suckers over here.
