15/10/2015 15:07 | You argument is valid to an extent. However, could it not be the case that the ‘system’ works in a way which leads to the outcome we are seeing with Caza and many other companies today? Is it not, deliberately set up like this? The lenders with their high interest rates, in my opinion exploit the BOD by offering them huge sums of money, which give unrealistic fantasies ( in this case, caza’s accelerated drilling strategy’) some chance of seeing life. But in a lot of cases the probabilities suggest outcomes other than anticipated. | ih_538282
15/10/2015 14:15 | Unfortunately that's the reality of a privately controlled money supply. We live with it and must take the pro's and con's of it aswell. Folk were able to make money here and lots of it - the ride from 8p to 25p was something to behold. Keep in mind, its the 'system' that allowed Caza $50mln to drill this and other opportunities. 15/10/2015 13:35 | If I may add, the system seems to be in standby until all the hard work has been done ( taking risks, generating funds, drilling and proving up assets). Once this phase is over the system wakes up, just like a rover on Mars, and begins to exploit the resources given to it by policy makers. Who wins? They do the so called men in suits. | ih_538282

15/10/2015 12:00 | The way society functions these days may suggest that some of the cogs behind these mechanisms are set up in a way which traps small business owners( by means advantageous to the system) resulting in these small business owners being literally kicked out of their own company. The role of litigation seems to be complimentary, with words such as administration, bankruptcy being subservient to this system and also having the impact of creating false conscious. Where is the evidence for this? Well, just take a look at all those companies going bust. | ih_538282

14/10/2015 16:06 | I see that Malcy talks about Bankers getting tough by reducing credit. In the case of Emerald Oil, it leaves them $20m overdrawn. I wonder what Apollo will do by the end of the month, and whether CAZA will be able to sell anything to pay them off. Buffy | buffythebuffoon
13/10/2015 12:10 | Well you know who can switch the machine off. It's up to them. Buffy | buffythebuffoon
13/10/2015 11:10 | "CAZA remains on life support.." The dead are often found to be on life support because we give science too much power. But life and death, not in the hands of science. Lets pray that we get our money back. | ih_538282
12/10/2015 20:19 | Maybe, although Apollo can shorten the forbearance period with three days notice at any time after 15th. Obviously there'll be more clarity by 1st Nov at the latest. Buffy | buffythebuffoon
12/10/2015 19:52 | My interpretation of the RNS meant that Apollo had until today to shorten the forebearance period to 15th October. If there is no RNS tomorrow morning, it would imply that talks are progressing with the 'potential transaction' and Apollo are comfortable with the progress to date. Doesn't mean anything to shareholders of course, as Apollo only want repaying and couldn't careless about anyone other than themselves. What it does suggest is that talks are still alive.... 12/10/2015 06:56 | Just back from a week at our place in the Lake District. When away I seldom post( at any great length) for the rather obvious reason that I'm there to relax and do my own thing. In the past I have rarely posted on other bbs even though I hold shares in a number of companies. With things being in a state of limbo at Caza I see little point in posting when I simply don't know what is going on , not in any meaningful way at least, so I have been posting and gathering information on a recently put together group of small companies that have taken my fancy. I am still here though and waiting. | pavey ark
10/10/2015 21:11 | Good to see you guys are still here watching as there will be a buy opportunity soon IMO. We need to see more detail and if it's a 7am RNS we will have 1 hour to absorb it. My gut feel is that there may be a significant trade opportunity ... but not yet. Its drifting down and the day to decide is on the RNS. Watching and waiting! ... Speak soon | 1628386
