30/4/2021 08:15 | Expected a slight drop on a technical note as we finished last night with a UT trade. I think of it as a tidying up process. Hopefully the day will sort itself out. IMO | hazl
29/4/2021 18:00 | 'The rest of the Goldman Sachs report noted "Discussions of peak oil demand overlook the fact that without a surge in the use of copper and other key metals, the substitution of renewables for oil will not happen,'. The report added copper will be needed to create the new infrastructure systems required for clean energy to replace oil and gas, however, there has not been enough of a focus on this so far according to the report. Demand will therefore significantly increase, by up to 900% to 8.7 million tons by 2030, if green technologies are adopted en masse, the bank estimates. Should this process be slower, demand will still surge to 5.4 million tons, or by almost 600%. Goldman Sachs recently upgraded its 2025 price target to $15,000 per metric ton ($6.80/lb).' kitco | hazl
29/4/2021 17:59 | Well we've clearly broken above 2.65 the last 4 days. Next target 3.0p. Softly, softly . . . | donaferentes

29/4/2021 08:43 | dona, I would imagine there will be much more exploration required before thoughts turn to production. I doubt there will be any mining before 2023-4. | soulsauce
29/4/2021 08:39 | It's a steady climb last few weeks so I think the potential is being realised. | hazl
29/4/2021 08:38 | Write to them D! Show them what we want....but a mining lease is on the list . | hazl
29/4/2021 08:24 | Hi Hazl. As I said earlier, all excellent, but when do we mine? | donaferentes
29/4/2021 08:19 | It looks to me that we have quite some assets, already, and great potential for more. Looking very hopeful as the EV market and the infrastructure market has only just begun it's intensity! IMO | hazl
29/4/2021 08:16 | Just this last few weeks..... ' On 7 April 2021, Castillo confirmed that improving weather conditions should enable a resumption of exploratory work at the core Mt Oxide Project. In addition, further forensic work has uncovered eleven targets and more details on the Arya Prospect's geological potential. On 13 April 2021, Castillo outlined further compelling insights into the Arya Prospect, arising from reviewing historical reports undertaken by BHP and MIM that bolster the exploration potential ahead of a resumption in the drilling campaign. In addition, another deep bedrock conductor has been identified at the newly named Sansa Prospect, immediately west of the Arya Prospect. However, further interpretation work is required to formulate the dimensions and determine the prospectivity for copper mineralisation. ' | hazl
29/4/2021 08:12 | ' -- Assays confirm major copper discovery at the high-grade Big One Deposit, as two 40-44m wide intercepts from surface, with up to 16.65% Cu , significantly extended known mineralisation -- The best apparent intercepts comprise: o 303RC: 40m @ 1.64% from surface including 11m @ 4.40% from 24m, 5m @ 7.34% from 28m & 1m @ 16.65% from 29m o 301RC: 44m @ 1.19% Cu from surface including 14m @ 3.55% from 27m, 3m @ 10.88% from 37m & 1m @ 12.6% from 37m -- Subsequent to quarter end, the compelling case for the Arya Prospect, which has an interpreted 130m thick potential massive sulphide target (circa 1,500m by 450m and 426m deep), was outlined post reviewing legacy BHP and MIM data .' We do know they are waiting for a license and that is confirmed. The GeoDiscovery Group have been given further mandates by the look of it and 'On 3 March 2021, Castillo stated that due to the prevailing solid outlook for the global copper market, the Board decided to re-shape its strategic intent for the Big One Deposit to capitalise on this prevailing opportunity. In addition, the Board noted it is cognisant of the improving fundamentals for the global cobalt market, as the recent drilling campaign verified there is ore grade cobalt mineralisation also apparent at the Big One Deposit. The starting point is to firm up plans to apply for a new mining lease, ahead of Castillo's geology consultant releasing an inaugural JORC compliant resource. The arguments in favour of taking this assertive stance are compelling, as the Big One Deposit already has several high-quality fundamental strengths, including: -- A known high-grade shallow copper system that was mined in 1997 - producing 4,400t of supergene ore, averaging 3.5% Cu - via several open pits; -- Recent and historical drilling campaigns that have produced exceptional high-grade intercepts.' It looks to me at first glance things are going to plan but they are trying to adapt to general events and provide shareholder value. | hazl
29/4/2021 08:02 | Report out. Only just looked in. | hazl
29/4/2021 07:27 | RNS quarterly report - something and nothing. Good to see prospectivity etc confirmed, but I really could not see anything new that we did not know already. Maybe BHA being considered for divestment via a float is news - but pretty slim information - what was the result of their considerations? Hopefully the end of the rainy season allows real progress to be made now, but actual mining looks to be a couple of years away still. | donaferentes
