I finally sold the latter half of my small CCZ holding today (Wed 28th Dec 2022), at a loss. Another poor recommendation by HotStockRockets. Admittedly with this one I ended up doing my own trading with it, but even if I had followed their recommendations step by step I would still have made a considerable loss. From HSR’s 15th Jan 2022 update on CCZ: “We profusely apologise that it has not worked out as hoped, but with much more comfort elsewhere in the portfolio it looks better to take the hit here and reinvest elsewhere. Sell.”. |

Not sure that announcement justified a suspension of trading although it adds a potential gold mine so to speak to the apparently available resources.Anything in the rare earth mineral spectrum that isn't in China is also a definite plus.Is it enough to go for a top up I wonder? |

Seen it before it does seem odd that on these dual listed that you can carry on dealing in one market even though there is deemed to be a risk of price sensitive information leaking in another. Trading halts are requested by a company when a price sensitive announcement is near release. The temporary suspension prevents confidential information from leaking to the market prior to official publication. Trading halts are lifted after the release of the announcement, and cannot last longer than two trading days. |
