(Xclusive2) FAIR PLAY TO YOU. GOODLUCK With your investment here. If the deeps do not happen as Clive promised in his interviews then I also will reassess my game play.BUT until that happens I will continue to accumulate more shares at what I think is a bargain price. I have what I consider a good amount and only invest what I can afford to lose. If it goes t-ts up then I just move on to my others. As you say.....THE CLOCK IS TICKING. G/LUCK.

JG,I will assess the facts which will lead to me selling, holding or adding. If it's a shallow only play, that's not for me and I'll exit in the best way I can to protect capital. Not saying that this can't be worth a multiple if current share price with considerable shallow success but that's not my investment strategy.CASP need cash and they don't want to be raising at current share price as the dilution will damage our investment. Shallow and deep success would be great news BUT they still have to finance tge FDP and future exploration. We're lucky that we're in Kstan where cost of extraction is one of the cheapest in the world and therefore the capital required isn't huge as it is in plays like HUR who have had great exploration success BUT a funding disaster.All to play for but I won't be around in 2018 if the deeps fail and they have no solution to make them work. I'll stick around if I can see a non dilutive solution that will enable them to get there.Clock is ticking.

A name with WH Ireland links, who may not have made the connection to, is Raushan Sagdiyeva owns Raditie. That company held 20.4 million shares in BNG. He is also a major business figure in Almaty as are other Kazakhstan figures.

( Xclusive2) you have been around since 2006 ??? you may as well hang around till 2018 and hopefully the new licence ??? You of all people should be used to the ups and downs ROXI/CASPIAN have thrown at you over the years. I had my eyes on what was then RXP for a while and thought it was the right time to jump onboard. I've only been accumulating as many shares as I can since Feb 2017. But I believe this is starting to progress. The merger was a major step for the company and hopefully news will pick up in the very near future. (IMO) It's a time to hold and accumulate NOT sell and run. BUT it's your decision to make no one else. (You have to be in it to win it) G/LUCK. :0)

They'll announce news as soon as they have something to announce, clearly they're not there yet. We're used to tardiness and missed deadlines so why should it be any different now. All we're concerned about is that it's the right news and that's deep success, not another great well on MJF that will soften any deep disappointment.This journey has been a long one, shallow only and I'll say my goodbyes (carefully) and wish you all the best. Being an optimist, I'm hoping that I don't have to transfer my tickets !

toggle, thanks for the pointer to the whi note. the revenue figures (not new to this note) from 2017 onwards look interesting, something which i have mentioned before seems to be well under the radar for the time being.

reading between the lines of the whi note, i hope caspian are not feeding whi lines to prepare the ground for this to be a shallow only play;

has the company fudged up all 3 deeps?

i'm so fed up with the double-talk that emanates from the company, that if someone offered me 23p today (whi tp on shallow assets) and said forget about the potential returns from the deeps, i think i'd bite their hand off!

if a deep comes in then a different ball game obvs.

Great to have MJF and hopefully the 808 well adds another dimension BUT this was all about the deeps. The strategy wasn't shallow and intermediate targets,0. Yes, part of the portfolio but the BNG area was touted from the rooftops as yielding potential elephants. MJF is more like a mouse than an elephant and unless we have a colony of mice, it's not going to be a good ROI v risk/time.Deep success or not worth the risk I'm afraid.Mr C, Better news than delivered on AST please.S

Value uplift potential from 144 well on MJF structure
If successful, we estimate that the step-out well 144 will confirm an additional 4.8mmb of recoverable resource at the MJF structure, 99% of which would be attributable to Caspian Sunrise. The value uplift would equate to $38.8m or 1.8 p/sh. We have included no value for the potential upside in our TP.

• Success at well 144 would confirm that the MJF structure has a surface area of 10km2, up 27% from our prior estimate of 7.9km2. We estimate that the additional resource will require only four more wells to produce, each costing circa $1.5m.

• The MJF structure with or without success at the MJF 144 well has become a large scale and highly profitable oil field. The wells in the field have proven to be stable, with production rates of up to 600 b/d. We currently estimate the field will produce 18.0 mmb of oil, which ignores the potential for success at the 144 well.

• Success at well 144 will pave the way for more step-out drilling. At some point we believe that a step-out well will encounter water which would identify the oil water contact that would delineate the surface area of the oil bearing structure (above the oil water contact). A two-fold increase in the resource potential at the MJF structure would be possible; however, this would require the drilling of more delineation wells that encounter oil. Already the scale of the MJF structure has materially redefined Caspian Sunrise, by increasing the balance of value within the company towards proven low-risk and low-cost shallow assets. Today, the company’s shallow assets contribute 9.7p/sh to our 23.1p/sh fair value estimate. However, the trajectory of value creation within the company’s shallow portfolio is exceeding our expectations in terms of scale and pace which is transforming the equity story in our opinion.

I still maintain Carver assumed that when he gave everybody the deadline of end of June for an update that he thought it would be enough time to at least sort out one of the wells. I really hope he is right and indeed we do get news in the next 2 days. However I think there are 2 other options. Firstly no statement because they are still trying to make progress. In which case shares go abit lower. Or worse a statement saying no progress, with a load of excuses around the difficulties being encountered. In which case another decent sell off. Then another quarter of waiting .

Seems to me Cliar will drag to release RNS to the next month as he have done many times. Read the latest broker report published on June 26, and noticed the potential of shallow well 144 will be 4.8 milion barrel if successful. Well 144 is to be reached the target depth by the end of 2nd quarter by RNS. But who will believe Cliar's RNS any longer?
