proothi12,
If you want to see full value, you will keep CLN until they convert to CBM in August IMO. Thats what I intend to do.

WTN up premarket I think in Toronto...according to the WTN board.

Came across a mention somewhere that suggested buying CBM would be the ultimate coup - bagging CLN,WTN,....and the lot. Hehe.

crawford, At some point the apparent discounts will all catch up, at any rate once the WTN situation resolves itself. At which point I presume things will become stalled for a time while CBM decides what to do next. I'm happy to sit it out at least until the WTN deal is done.

I don't think CBM should be trading at much discount to WTN - I posted as much on the CBM bb...

Also, since CBM's rns the share price of WTN has increased by 24%.

CBM's stake in WTN was valued at £3.60 per CBM share - so that now would be £4.47. Even allowing for it to trade at a 25% discoutn to NAV, it would still be £3.35 per share - and that equates to a CLN share price of £1.03.

So still undervalued & I'm still buying....

ppowerscourt, I am unsure of the real skills of CBM. At the moment the mining skills seem to be with CLN and WTN, indeed in the early days of CLN some dreadful contracting mistakes were made. If CBM turns its WTN holding into cash then CLN becomes the major actual operating component, and we then have to trust CBM that it spends the money from WTN wisely. Although CLN needs to raise money to continue development I'm sure it could easily do so from a Bank given the outlook for coal prices. While CBM will have cash it will have given up future rewards from WTN production, thus CLN becomes the future prospect but diluted across CBM shareholders. My view is that CBM do a lot bettter out of the deal than CLN. That aside, I notice that CLN much more closely reflects the share price of CBM today, we seem to have lost the discount.

lefrene,

CBM expects to become a producer in the future, thus buying CLN. And by doing so, will be adding CLN's EBG which is also producing.

Odd that a company with enormous assets and potential of its own in my view way beyond its current sp, actually gets to mark pace to another company, that marks pace to another company in Canada. Perhaps once the deals are all done and we become CBM holders the share price will revert to reflecting its own assets/potential. I would rather that CLN was on its own, since I think the assets and future rewards are rather better prospects than becoming a part of CBM minus its WTN holdings.

We'll wait for WTN on the TSE to determine the day's close.Follow thro' or fall back?
