18/6/2008 10:37 | 281/285 on cbm should be 86/88... so fill ya boots!! | sportbilly1976
18/6/2008 10:27 | Remp the real offer price@cbm at 280p is 86P thats a near 7p discount on the bid or 5p on the offer. | 25cent
18/6/2008 10:23 | crawford - I would rather there was a confirmed price for WTN before CLN are taken over. A bid of 550-600p for WTN would place a definite value on CBM's stake (remember yesterday at £4.06 it was £4.21 a share). So given those values we would be looking at a price for CBM of circa £5.00 a share for CBM, which in turn values CLN at around £1.50 a share...!! | sportbilly1976
18/6/2008 10:23 | still at a 4p discount 2 cbm.worth selling cbm and buying cln no-brainer. | remp31
18/6/2008 09:54 | Has a date been set for the CLN meeting next month? I would like to see CLN taken over before any approaches for WTN. | crawford

18/6/2008 09:17 | this is the cheap way into cbm. | remp31
18/6/2008 09:17 | 1000% yes! CBM already had 36% before the bid and undertakings in place to get over 50%. This is 9% cheaper way to get into CBM than buying actual CBM shares. | 25cent
18/6/2008 09:15 | 25cent, is this company definitely going to be taken over by cbm? I'm considering which one to buy | crawford
18/6/2008 09:01 | Bid now 6p behind the real offer price, 6p is usually the limit before the MM bring the difference down to the usual 2-3p. So it should move up as long as CBM dont go lower than 273p. | 25cent
18/6/2008 00:23 | If 18 months from now CLN manage to be producing at a rate of 3 million tons a year, that implies at $50 a ton profit $150 million a year two years out. Perhaps over egging it a bit, but certainly not outside the realms of possibility and doesn't need $300 a ton prices or anywhere near that. As yet american investors don't seem to have discovered CLN, and they could do for CLN what they are doing for WTN once they cotton on. I'm just going to sit and wait for this to turn into serious money. | lefrene
17/6/2008 22:59 | On the 29/5/08 (post 2690) I suggested CLN would hit 92p by July when trying to persuade pictureframe from selling up (after he had held through the bad times for 4 years) when the price hit 65p. I now think we could hit 92p before the end of July. That same day (29/5/08) I also told topvest he had made a foolish decision to sell that day, at 55p, for a tiny profit/breakeven after holding for 4 years. Its amazing the number of investors who hold on to a poorly performing investment for years and then the moment everything suddenly starts looking rosy for the company they determine to sell up come what may so as to get their money back; as though they are cutting off their nose to spite their face. | papillon |
