02/2/2024 08:27 | You know the saying. “There are two types of analysts, those who don’t know and those who don’t know they don’t know”. | bbonsall

01/2/2024 22:37 | I might be wrong but, as far as I can establish, online revenue is around £10 million out of a total of around £500 million of revenue. So homing in on that aspect and comparing us with Moonpig or Funky Pigeon to slag off CF is disengenuous. It wouldn’t matter if online revenue fell to zero! CF is a successful high street business. | bbonsall
01/2/2024 22:16 | Casholaa This is the link I was reading. | bbonsall
01/2/2024 22:12 | As a loose guide. At 2.30pm the yanks join inIf the market's are up they bring it down. And then after our market's are shut they bring it up and end up winning and we are stuffed. Conversely if the market's are down they sometimes bring it up but not enough to be winning for us as our market's close. Also the trading volumes are huge as the yanks are massive compared to us so the trading can get very volatile and any litte thing in their news feed can affect the market's but we don't find out till later. | peteret

01/2/2024 19:13 | I was reading what analysts have been saying since the update. Their negative attitude revolves around on-line performance being lack lustre/poor. I cannot understand their focus on such a tiny fraction of revenues when CF is a successful bricks and mortar retailer with over 1000 outlets producing an excellent increase in the lions share of CF business. Why this obsession with the insignificant fraction of CFs business? Curious, short sighted and disproportionate. | bbonsall

28/1/2024 11:04 | Card generates so much cash they should be substantially liquid by now. The overseas ventures are unlikely to have done more than a slight dent, otherwise a local slowdown if it happens is equally irrelevant for liquidity. | harry_david
25/1/2024 12:40 | If they had cleared £6.6m of Tranche 'A' as of 31st July 2023, then I agree, £4.4m left but we are 6 months along... so it's either interest and other liability/costs + £4.4m or some of that £4.4m has already gone by now??? | casholaa
25/1/2024 12:09 | @sofia Forget my gibberish. I can't tell anymore. My eyes have gone. dyor etc You were correct "At 31 July 2023, the Group had made total repayments of £6.6 million in respect of Term Loan A, and £11.8 million in respect of the CLBILs facilities. Following the balance sheet date, on 25 September 2023, the Group made the final repayments due in respect of the CLBILs facilities, which are now fully extinguished." - page 29 -i was looking at the wrong year! I'd be hoping for an rns or press report that Tranch 'A' has gone on the 31st or soon after? | casholaa |
