10/10/2016 18:42 | In my post of October 7th (Friday evening), I noted that a Carclo dividend has been credited to my TDDI trading account. I have been away from home since I checked my account then and only now (Monday evening) have I had chance to check my TDDI statement. There are no Carclo dividends in my Trading or ISA accounts. But I am sure they were there on Friday evening. At that time, I noted down the cash balance of my trading account as £2,241. Today the balance is £1,814. The difference of £427 is exactly the amount of the Carclo dividend (21,900 shares at 1.95p). The only explanation I can offer is that TDDI made a mistake by crediting the dividends that were originally scheduled for October 7th and then deleted the credits as soon as the error was spotted. I apologise for raising your hopes (and mine). I genuinely thought that the dividend had been paid. | sturmey
10/10/2016 16:39 | worth noting that this dog continues to fall bit of a bargepole job at the mo, lol stop with all the constant ramping rivoltingdo markets don't like those kind of rubbish financial announcements, this aint going nowhere, lol | hvs1
10/10/2016 14:56 | Worth noting that 10-year government bond yields are now up 55% since CAR issued the divi trading statement on 31st August - they're now up to their highest since just before 30th June: | rivaldo
10/10/2016 10:34 | Here's the Becton page for the Vystra injector pen which CAR will now be producing - note that its sister reusable pen has "•Millions of units sold globally, to multiple customers". Presumably the Vystra will sell even more since it's disposable: Sturmey's post is imo either a mistake or a wind-up. I haven't received a divi, and someone elsewhere contacted the company who confirmed they hadn't paid it. | rivaldo
10/10/2016 09:23 | There's no div payment in my account... are you sure about yours Sturmey? | hair2
08/10/2016 11:14 | Not in mine either. Shame as it would have been a nice surprise | hopeful holder
07/10/2016 22:22 | Well I looked sturmey and it wasn't in my account but I'll adopt my over-optimistic idealist stance and check again on Monday :) | gleach23
05/10/2016 10:40 | Good to see the price moving up before next week's trading update. Further to the last positive update, sterling weakness will have further helped trading in September. No doubt the distributable reserve situation will be addressed again next week, but I for one am much more interested in core trading and the outlook going forward. | rivaldo
04/10/2016 16:24 | Looks like a bot has been buying amounts of 200+ shares all day, offset by larger occasional sells. Online quotes don't indicate much underlying demand, despite the increased quoted market prices. Hopefully we'll see a pick up ahead of next week. In the meantime I wonder what the post-Sept position of the pension deficit is. Originally due to be paid this Friday but, as anticipated, no news on this. | gleach23
03/10/2016 13:35 | RNS - good to see increased institutional interest, with Aberforth increasing above 12% with 8.07m shares: | rivaldo
29/9/2016 10:18 | Peel Hunt today say Buy with a 190p target: Confident ahead of the trading update in the next couple of weeks "during the week commencing 10 October 2016". | rivaldo
28/9/2016 17:35 | Dream on!!!! | beeezzz
22/9/2016 09:59 | I see on Google that Apple might buy McLaren?? Could LED car lights interest Apple also ??!! High hopes ! | 9degrees
16/9/2016 09:30 | It'll be interesting to find out - they seem to be on the front foot with a progressive dividend policy and peeved that 'legal and accounting circumstances' looked like getting in the way (as at Aug 31). If the update had been 2 weeks later I suspect there would have been no mention of it. However from a PR perspective the damage has been done and unfortunately CAR took the headlines on this issue ahead of other companies in a similar boat. For that reason perhaps they will do as you suggest rather than reverse the message. | gleach23
16/9/2016 08:29 | Agreed gleach23 - for example, UK 10 year bonds have surged quite dramatically since the August lows: I do believe the upcoming trading update will be rather good - especially given CAR should have started to benefit from post-Brexit currency moves - but I think they'll probably wait until the year end as regards potential dividend restoration, to allow for the improving bond yield trend to become more concrete/certain. | rivaldo
16/9/2016 04:33 | The same day that it made its global debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2016, the Aston Martin DB11 made its appearance in Singapore- making the Asian country the first nation outside of the show to launch the sportscar. | cougar99
15/9/2016 22:55 | From my very limited understanding of this area, I gather bond yields have rebounded since the update on Aug 31st so there is still a chance the dividend will be paid. Presumably we now await the position for Carclo as at Sep 30th to see if the pension deficit allows for the dividend payment and if it does then they would pay it. We could therefore get a double positive whammy at the start of Oct since they would have to release an RNS before the (hopefully positive) trading update on 10th as the dividend is due to be paid on 7th. | gleach23
15/9/2016 08:25 | If it does hit 120 I will probably buy some more as don't see much risk from those levels. | amoore70

14/9/2016 17:29 | told ya! But I'm holding fire for 120p, whereupon the risk/reward balance will be favourable, IMO | bigtbigt
13/9/2016 11:41 | illiswilgig - you'll get another chance, just wait a few days! | bigtbigt |
