Any thoughts on how low this will go (charts, news, etc) before it will turn back again.I'm looking to add to my holdings which I have purchased from late 20s to high 30's.. |
With the current share price now 32p, our P/E ratio close to 3.. a decent trading update and no nasty pension surprises and we are ready for a nice uplift. |
Schroders just quietly building and averaging up at every level. I still believe this should be north of 80p based on £7m underlying profits just delivered. 70m shares in issue at 40p with is only £28m mkt cap. Trading on a PE of 4. A PE of 8 which would be 80p is more like it. Schroders know the score |
I've added earlier on this morning. It's always better to average up on an improving picture than averaging down on hope.Schroeder's have just given me more confidence albeit none more was needed. ? |
RNS - Schroders continue to buy. They now own a whopping 19.24% of CAR with 14.13m shares and have bought not far off another 1m shares since their last notification: |
Schroders increased to 19% |
I'm afraid the pitfalls you perceived - which presumably explain why you didn't buy at the lows - were not as real or as risky as you thought... Those who perceived the risk/reward more accurately have been appropriately rewarded. Well done to them. ATB |
disagree potential undervaluation was always large in principle though the pitfalls to it were also real - news assuaging these improves the risk/reward significantly imo |
Trust. It was better to buy BEFORE the rally. But good luck holders, new and old.. :) |
I disagree mispricings can be stark and they can correct quickly too - i think this is a better buhy now than pre the rally |
I can't help but think that this is getting too far ahead of itself and needs to pull back a bit.Whilst the other part of me is thankful for the increase in my paper profits. |
Nice to see 40p bid again. |
And it's up this morning |
This is a little higher risk than I normally like but the story and progress is clearly happening.Whilst I kick myself for selling part of my holding a little while back, I would kick myself even more for not buying again in as the story here is quite eye watering.. even if they do not deliver everything hoped for, even a good delivery will see those minimum over a pound and logic would say previous highs, whilst lofty, could be achieved presuming the pension deficit (imho the biggest risk as out of managements hands) re evaluation brings about positive news. That in itself may, could, should, trigger another upwards move. |
It's one he held onto when he went big into cash |
Upped his already large holding early yesterday morning |
Not sold any, I have actually added following the update |
Fabulous day, anyone sold any, I havent |
Will attract new investors now |
Good post rivaldo, totally agree with everything that you have written. |
Great to see the focus on improving margins rather than chasing low quality sales.
This is just what investors want to see. Along with trading nicely in line and restructuring progressing ahead of expectations, CAR's latest management team are finally showing all the signs of smooth sailing without unpleasant surprises and a strategic plan which is actually working. |
