MONTREAL, Oct. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- (NYSE: CGT; TSX: CAE) - CAE has been awarded orders by JetBlue Airways and Shanghai Eastern Flight Training Co. Ltd., the training subsidiary of China Eastern Airlines, for a total list-price value of C$35 million, including some buyer furnished equipment. These orders represent CAE's twelfth and thirteenth simulator sales of its fiscal year 2006. JetBlue has ordered an EMBRAER 190 full-flight simulator as well as two CAE Simfinity(TM) flight training devices (FTDs). One FTD is for EMBRAER 190 aircraft, and the other is for Airbus A320 aircraft. All of the equipment is destined for JetBlue University's support campus located at the Orlando International Airport. Shanghai Eastern Flight Training Co. Ltd. has ordered an Airbus A320 full-flight simulator as well as a CAE Simfinity Boeing 737 NG integrated procedures trainer, to be delivered to its training centre in Pudong, Shanghai, in the fall of 2006. Both simulators will feature the CAE Tropos(TM) visual system, which uses satellite imagery as well as sophisticated weather and lighting effects to create realistic training scenarios for pilots. The simulators will be qualified to Level D, the highest level performance rating for flight training equipment given by regulatory authorities, while the FTDs will be qualified to Level 5. "We are honoured by the continued trust that our customers JetBlue and China Eastern have shown in CAE's simulation technology," said Marc Parent, CAE's Group President, Simulation Products. "These new orders highlight CAE's continued success in growing segments of the market such as the low-cost carrier market and the Asia-Pacific region." CAE is a leading provider of simulation and modelling technologies as well as integrated training services for commercial and business aviation, and defence customers worldwide. The company has annual revenues of approximately C$1 billion, with operations and training facilities in 17 countries on five continents. DATASOURCE: CAE INC.
