09/4/2021 19:27 | Another 2.2m trades reported today - certainly some churn going on | gleach23
09/4/2021 12:33 | Can buy and sell in decent volume @ 63p now. The underlying Bid has been rising all morning from 62p | gleach23
09/4/2021 12:33 | Cheers - excellent news. Stifel are a relatively large player so should bring in some interest. Another 711,000 shares traded already on a quiet Friday.....the supply has to end at some point! | rivaldo
09/4/2021 11:57 | Thanks for that :-) | cheshire man
09/4/2021 11:42 | From their twitter account. This morning Andrew Breichmanas from @Stifel initiated coverage on Capital, with a very pleasing Buy recommendation and a £1 price target. https://t.co/qrmJ6c5 | thepopeofchillitown
08/4/2021 21:19 | Volume reported as 4.3m by the end of the day. Good to see. I guess we did at least absorb the XD for around 1p today too. Grasping at straws a little bit but I wonder if there's any form for large sellers exiting on XD day at all? | gleach23
08/4/2021 14:50 | Remain very happy to hold. Normally I would be taking out a trading SB at this point. Tempted to add more shares but have made so many top ups already around this level I am telling myself to stop. However if the share price does dip in the next week ahead of the update then I don't think I'll be able to hold myself back from another! | gleach23
08/4/2021 14:27 | At least the volumes are very healthy - another 2.5m shares or so traded so far already this week. Perhaps the imminent Q1 update will clear these sellers once and for all! | rivaldo
08/4/2021 08:56 | As the Q1 update moves ever closer, disappointing to note that one can currently buy decent quantity at the current Bid price of 63p! Unless one was looking to buy in of course... | gleach23
06/4/2021 14:31 | Indeed - buyers have to be on the share register before 9th April to get the 1.3c dividend. | rivaldo
06/4/2021 12:44 | So you should | gleach23
06/4/2021 12:43 | Expecting a drop after exdiv. | dolittle1
06/4/2021 08:35 | FYI I've incorporated this excellent recent summary of CAPD into the thread header post as a useful aide-memoire: I note the gold price is bouncing nicely now - although of course even after the recent decline it was still at a very high level in overall terms. Last year's Q1 update was on 16th April, so only a few days away. I'm pretty confident we can expect to hear good things :o)) | rivaldo
01/4/2021 20:23 | A noteworthy 2.8m shares reported after the close today around 65p. Hopefully only about 10 trading days away now from the eagerly awaited Q1 TU. | gleach23
01/4/2021 11:44 | Possibly to do with the mini auction at the time. There are often odd trades at the end of the auction although these are usually UTs. | gleach23
01/4/2021 11:18 | I don't know why. They are easy to buy at 64.35p | stemis
01/4/2021 11:10 | Interesting - 10,000 shares just bought at the full 66p offer price. That's the first time 66p has been paid for a while. | rivaldo
30/3/2021 19:31 | Welcome aboard pireric...let's hope you're spot on with your timing | gleach23
30/3/2021 19:08 | Also another 2 chunky ones this afternoon | currencytrader1
30/3/2021 17:33 | I've bought an opening position here over the past week as it looks an attractive setup into this calendar year. Have been tracking CAPD for years. Gold explorers have a lot of embarked activity to work through, and activity levels are (at a guess) probably only reflecting a price much lower than where it's even running at today. Meanwhile the quality of earnings continues to approve; more longer-term contracts, more lab revenues etc. Only takes a small change in perception here to drive material upside in my view given you have what could turn out to be a big earnings multiple lever to pull alongside earnings growth. 30/3/2021 16:52 | ...and step forward the latest candidate for a potential clearing of an overhang...trade for 534,374 shares @ 64.5p reported just after the close today. Regardless, it's good to get volume continuing but I also like these chunky random amounts which just could be clearing a large holder out....we can hope :) | gleach23
29/3/2021 10:19 | Good to see 64.7p-65p being paid now, i.e at or near the full offer price. This is bloody well going to lift off at some point :o)) | rivaldo
27/3/2021 12:56 | Yep, the only downside is Note 13 and relates to tax disputes in several jurisdictions albeit CAPD have already provisioned for more than they think is reasonable. | shanklin
27/3/2021 10:08 | Shanklin , Just listened to the presentation again. Wrt MSA LABS , you are totally right. High margin /high growth. 8 mill turnover in 2020 and the Ceo said expecting it to double to 16 million 2021 and targeting 50 million revenue in 5 years. Also, he alluded to now being in the part of the cycle where rig utilisation is rising along with ARPOR as first signs of pricing power are emerging since Jan and now into Q1. As you said, somewhere between 66 and 80% utilisation surely on the cards this year. | miti 1000 |
