Guess people didn't expect to be locked in for 6months Ed.A profits a profit and you need sellers to feed the buyers and let's face it why wouldn't you want to! I had reached my ISA allowance so started a sb,can't believe I was able to grab that opportunity at such a low price!

Yeah there were a lot of sellers earlier. Seems like an odd time to take profits when the company has updated the performance of the miscible flood and their short term objectives of adding even more production and reserves. But each to their own a profit is a profit at the end of the day. Looking forward to the coming years here, might also at some point get a large bonus from Nigeria too (226 extension and Essar drilling at some point in the future would be a nice boost).

"Barron Flats Federal Unit (Deep)

The Company has commenced drilling operations at the BFU Fed 14-30VF well location, a 9,212' exploration well with the primary objective to extend the Barron Flats Shannon Miscible Unit to the Southwest and to evaluate oil potential of the Frontier and Dakota Formations. The location is adjacent to and southwest of the Barron Flats Shannon Miscible Unit. Intersection of the Shannon reservoir at this location will expand and increase the oil reserves attributed to the Barron Flats Shannon Miscible Unit. In addition, the BFU 14-30VF location is offsetting an abandoned well, one (1) mile to the west, drilled in the 1950s which has well developed apparent oil-bearing Frontier and Dakota sands. The Frontier Formation is the primary objective in the exploration portion of this well, potentially opening a new oil field development project close to the Company's existing oil production facilities."

That's a very interesting course of action, not only to potentially increase the reserves already in place from the BFU, but to potentially add Frontier and Dakota under the BFU. From the prospectus they have mentioned that the Frontier and Dakota under the CC field could contain as much as 114mmbbls of oil in place. It would be fab if they had similar under the BFU field too. Also the well is two birds with one stone too as its likely a producer from the BFU as a minimum imo. But if there's oil in the Frontier and Dakota just like that well drilled in the 1950's that would be super. I also hope that Art will elaborate on the new production targets as a result of the performance of BFU. I guess one of the targets for acquisition will still be CNOOC's 15% of BFU. Interesting times ahead in the short and medium term for sure.

I guess many that held before the suspension are out with a profit and new buyers are coming in.With this amount of volume it won't take long to churn to find a level from which to build from.I would say we are there now and the only way is up
