Bill,

I'm not sure they'll need to buy out Cuda. There's litigation over their share of BFU going on at the moment. If COPL win that default and damages case then its possible that Cuda only have the minimal production from CC to fund their debt and pay ongoing costs at CC. They may settle out of court as you suggest, therefore effectively "buying" their assets. With the ongoing case its possible that COPL could just be awarded their main production asset at BFU. Game over then.

Regards,
Ed.

For example Ryder Scott thinks there as much as 114mmbbls of oil in place at the neighbouring Cole Creek field. There's potential for the same oil productive reservoirs under BFU too, I'm sure you're looking to find out if that's the case too especially given the brief mention of the oil at the nearby well drilled in the 1950's. Exciting times eh fella? Especially as the current circa 30mmbbls of light oil are only valued at around £2/bbl, WTI is a lot higher than that isn't it.

Ed.

Mike,

No not at all it shows that there's a lot of interest here and not surprisingly given the rate at which the production is responding to the miscible flood. Production up 80% in just 3 months and the injection rate hasn't peaked yet either. They had to upgrade the facilities to handle the high pressure and oil flow rates. Also the current well being drilled is targeting the high potential Frontier and Dakota oil potential below the Barren Flats field so could add easy reserves from there too, to get there it passes through the productive Shannon reservoirs that are already developed in the field. So the high volume will be those interested in getting in for these development, racing production levels and potentially a transformative field below the Upper and lower Shannon. But if you want to add anything to the board then feel free, so far you've added zippo.

Regards,
Ed.
