I was doing a bit more reading up on Essar. It seems that Trafigura and Rosneft picked up Essars oil assets and didn't get 226 and the vietnam gas assets that were tucked into Essar Mauritius and they seem to have kept the Energy and refinery assets too. So they're the guys who are carrying little COPL and large Shoreline! Anyone new today needs to read the OPL 226 presentation from the COPL website:



That is what the dispute was all about.

Yes COPL got a £1m investor to come in at 0.3p after hitting a low of 0.035p when the market mistakenly thought it was going bust. Don't remember you being on here then though, just now. You were in EUA before it took off too but didn't stay around long enough. :)

Its 15% of a potential world class block on the table right now. Interesting times ahead this is only the start. That's not including to near term production assets that AM keeps hinting at. His goal is to turn COPL into a mid-cap producer. 226 has the potential to do that on its own, that's why Essar kept trying to get it back this last three years, as of today that's not an issue any more. I'm still holding tight until Phase I drilling is completed.

Be interesting to see the next news from COPL will they still go for the four wells in the phase I development. :) They've now 90 days after Noa-2 to take up the extra 20% (additional 10% net to COPL).

The trades were all sells and going NT to buy for 10 mins on iii whilst they collected all those sells! Only to sell them back to folk now and then rinse and repeat! That's what I'm talking about!!
