08/9/2019 18:40 | Kcowe, until Friday I was unaware of LRGS trades, just happened to go on to LSE proper to check on some on COPL trades and saw the trade flags. The other one was on the 33m and is still there. Intrigued by these, and disbelief that after all the delays someone was buying such a large amount, I investigated further and came upon European Securities and Markets Authority. Info there was not crystal clear but indicated to me that these trades could be delayed by up to a month. So was it a buy or a sell? We may never know as msk7 pointed out the reporting threshold on TSX is 10%. In the past few years the Annual Information Sheet and Prospectus make no mention of any significant shareholders over 10%. There were some, what happened to them? Lots of smoke and mirrors. Next time I will do this level of research before I buy rather than after I've lost money! Anyway there's an essay, wine time now see what tomorrow brings. | eckoh
08/9/2019 17:24 | eckoh .. is it usual or unusual for the london stock exchange to unflag trades in your experience ? | ![]() kcowe
08/9/2019 16:55 | sorry just re read your post you do say unflagged about 4pm. | msk7
08/9/2019 16:52 | you need to double check that the LRGS has been removed. | msk7
08/9/2019 16:42 | Hi I post as Bakingmental on LSE and that large trade was definitely marked up as an LRGS trade. Looked at it on there about 3pm. Saw it a few times as was checking out some other trades, it was unflagged by about 4pm. Seems a bit more civilised over here since I last posted about 15 years ago. Let's hope it was a buy and a turn around is on the way. | eckoh

07/9/2019 22:31 | My mistake for calling it an LRGS. I was relying on a poster from LSE who claimed it was flagged as that. Next week will be interesting,Marmie | ![]() marmiesz
07/9/2019 21:38 | Yep no flag , only description is xoff .Use MIC code ‘XOFF’ for financial instruments admitted to trading or traded on a trading venue, where the transaction on that financial instrument is not executed on a trading venue, systematic internaliser or organised trading platform outside of the Union,. taken from european commission document . Delay in publishing trades the size reported , end of trading day ,next day . | ![]() kcowe

07/9/2019 19:39 | have had a look that trade was not classified as a LRGS.could see no flag. | msk7
07/9/2019 17:26 | Because it's classed as LRGS by the stock exchange. I doubt if we will ever get to know what this was about but either way it's a large sum of money to either buy in to COPL or dispose of a holding. I rather think it was a buy as this would be a notifiable interest and thus far there is no one that owns 10% of the co.Marmie | ![]() marmiesz
07/9/2019 11:39 | Why should it be delayed ? | ![]() kcowe
