I would not be surprised to see a conclusion to the dispute shortly, this was hinted at during the recent presentation.

CNSL have lodged what they call a 'significant' counter claim, their council has stated with conviction that the company has no liability to pay any money out, on the contrary CNSL could receive an out of court settlement.

I was wondering whether the recent large buys are from 'insiders' who may be aware an update in this matter is imminent.

I really do believe, after several false dawns, the market will start to re-rate CNSL, a move through 4p looks very likely short term.

Rarely do we see so much cash and no debt in an AIM company. Strip out the cash and you will have a growth business valued at little. That's why sometimes it is wise for the directors to distribute surplus cash as a special dividend, actually enhancing the share price and benefiting all shareholders.

I bet that if even 1 p worth per share is distributed as a special dividend, the share price will not drop at all.

In the weekly candle chart I can see three "white marching soldiers". This is a very bullish sign. The relative strength indicator is ticking up. Moreover, the MACD (a reliable indicator) has crossed from negative to positive. All these technical indicators and the fundamentals will surely propel the share price higher. My immediate first target is 3.6 p.

The company should distribute the surplus cash as special dividend to shareholders, and see the share price also moving up higher.

This is worth a read....

Gentlemen

The Gracious Fellow has perused the recent results and wishes to comment.

Cambridge is performing excellently from an operational perspective, the slight fall in revenue for the HY has been explained, it is due to operational improvement leading to buyers destocking due to Cambridge being able to supply on time with confidence, this is a one off situation.

Moving ahead the company anticipates a strong second half.

The Gracious Fellow notes the ongoing apparent share price manipulation by a plethora of tiny sell trades across each trading day, aim being to depress the share price and quell sentiment, in the meantime large buys appear after hours, make of it what you will.

The current EV of CNSL sits at a pathetic £2m which makes the company a very juicy candidate for takeover. According to Cavendish CNSL will end the year with a £5m cash balance, currently Cambridge is valued at £6.75m.

Readers may wish to take advantage of the weak share price, one cannot rule out a bid pitched way beyond current levels.

The company should pay the surplus cash to shareholders as a special dividend. That will drive up the share price by 50% instantly.

Just watched the presentation, the team seem very happy with things generally, in respect of the DHSC claim still no movement however it appears they are being more dynamic in trying to conclude the matter, in a broker note today it was re-iterated that CNSL have no liability and are pursuing a significant counter claim.

Clearly if this matter was resolved it would be very beneficial for all concerned, in the meantime they are getting on with driving sales into H2.

The meeting was not the usual 1 hour and Q&A, despite them suggesting there were lots of questions, was very short.

It appears they are appointing a new marketing team, as the question was asked about the woeful PR, only time will tell.

In general they remain upbeat and suggest the company is materially undervalued, a bit like at the last results event.

Cavendish note this AM is suggesting revenues of £8.8m for the year to March , 2025 ( previously £9.4m ) but is maintaining its EBITDA forecast of £0.4m thanks to a near 3 percentage point improvement in gross margins . CNSL is continuing to invest in further operational improvements as well as sales & marketing despite the Q1 sales hiccup , which was all about destocking .

It does make you wonder how long some of the larger shareholders will put up with this market lethargy, the company seems comatose at the PR level with recent changes of the BOD making no effect.

The interim CEO is a total unknown, he came from the consulting group CNSL were using to improve productivity, well they surely did that hence those stellar final results.

CNSL is in one of the best positions for a minnow listed on AIM, namely it has plenty of cash and no need for dilutive placings.

The price action here has been on low volume and it never takes much buying to move the dial, make no mistake the share price has been a material disappointment, the next results could be a catalyst for upside.

Not long to wait.

Good riddance to Walbrook if they have dispensed them, they were quite useless.

The company uses the Investor Meet platform for it's live results Q&A and presentation event, Cavendish the broker have produced some stellar research notes with good analysis. The most recent being the 10p target price.

The issue appears to be getting the wider investment community interested, they seem to have no understanding how to promote, for example, this morning one peer company RNS'ed their move into another jurisdiction but CNSL have moved into numerous ones and not a murmur.

I still believe the best outcome for shareholders would be by way of a takeover approach, this outfit would slot nicely into a larger peer group, they are wide open for a bid with cash accounting for 70% of the current m/cap.

Current price is a great entry point.
