Gentlemen

The Gracious Fellow points out that the last RNS was hardly worthy of delivery to the market, a good CEO would have blocked it, instead we have a rather wet behind the ears fellow who probably knows no better, this is not to suggest Cooper is poor from a hands on business perspective, he has clearly delivered significant profitability and margin increase.

Moving on it is worth pointing out that Cavendish (broker) have not even bothered to review the court summons, as the above poster points out the charge (which is a minuscule affair in any-case) effects a third party.

Once again for the benefit of doubt the Gracious Fellow is long Cambridge and would add that market dynamics will move the share price significantly in due course.

Also note the recent sector M&A activity which has been priced way above market levels.

CNSL is a BUY.

Those who sold on the rather irrelevant RNS will be kicking themselves, CNSL have only been summoned to attend court proceedings, in actual fact it is Novacyt (NCYT) who have actually been charged.

The matter is broadly irrelevant to CNSL, at the very worst a very modest fine might occur, although extremely unlikely.

The share price hit 4.2p bid on the 17th, you can now buy in at 3.7p, I have a feeling a few sold out on the dynamic move from 2.8p to 4.3p mid price however the indicators remain exceptionally bullish.

Broker target remains at 10p.

Please excuse me to use the phrase that every dog has its day. This is the year of transformational change for CNSL.

Let's imagine if an ordinary person has won a £1 million in a prize draw. That's life changing. The same applies to CNSL, which can now legitimately own that £2.5 million cash without a cloud overhanging its head. Litigation is time consuming, distracting and quite often frustrating. It is negative energy.

Management can now get on with the business with positive energy, unhindered. The company ticks all the boxes for investing in. A strong BUY.

With the Gov dispute cleared up allowing £2.5m of CNSL cash to be placed back onto the balance sheet and positive vibes from the BOD re sales what is not to like here.

A good week ahead to say the least.

It was surely out of the question for a Labour Government which wasn't in power during Covid to chase a small company for such a small amount, when CNSL's counter-suit seemed to have more merit, especially remembering all the other waste of public cash during lockdown.

I'm slightly disappointed CNSL settled, but perhaps the whole thing was a waste of everyone's time. There was a risk of unnecessary legal bills, so that's gone now

I hope the shorters who pollute the LSE board last time I looked lose a handy chunk.

Gentlemen

Once again the Cambridge have delivered, the settlement with DHSC announced today was the last remaining legacy cloud hanging over the business, investors now know the YE cash position of circa £5m will all belong to the company and strengthens the business significantly.

The market can now re-rate CNSL accordingly, the shrewd are now buying as Cambridge is materially undervalued, possibly by the tune of three fold.

Remember the period Oct 1st to end March has been telegraphed as strong from a sales perspective !!

CNSL is a Buy.

I would not be surprised to see a conclusion to the dispute shortly, this was hinted at during the recent presentation.

CNSL have lodged what they call a 'significant' counter claim, their council has stated with conviction that the company has no liability to pay any money out, on the contrary CNSL could receive an out of court settlement.

I was wondering whether the recent large buys are from 'insiders' who may be aware an update in this matter is imminent.

I really do believe, after several false dawns, the market will start to re-rate CNSL, a move through 4p looks very likely short term.

Rarely do we see so much cash and no debt in an AIM company. Strip out the cash and you will have a growth business valued at little. That's why sometimes it is wise for the directors to distribute surplus cash as a special dividend, actually enhancing the share price and benefiting all shareholders.

I bet that if even 1 p worth per share is distributed as a special dividend, the share price will not drop at all.

This is worth a read....

Gentlemen

The Gracious Fellow has perused the recent results and wishes to comment.

Cambridge is performing excellently from an operational perspective, the slight fall in revenue for the HY has been explained, it is due to operational improvement leading to buyers destocking due to Cambridge being able to supply on time with confidence, this is a one off situation.

Moving ahead the company anticipates a strong second half.

The Gracious Fellow notes the ongoing apparent share price manipulation by a plethora of tiny sell trades across each trading day, aim being to depress the share price and quell sentiment, in the meantime large buys appear after hours, make of it what you will.

The current EV of CNSL sits at a pathetic £2m which makes the company a very juicy candidate for takeover. According to Cavendish CNSL will end the year with a £5m cash balance, currently Cambridge is valued at £6.75m.

Readers may wish to take advantage of the weak share price, one cannot rule out a bid pitched way beyond current levels.
