Posted at 21/11/2024 08:03 by bomber13 Cavendish note this AM is suggesting revenues of £8.8m for the year to March , 2025 ( previously £9.4m ) but is maintaining its EBITDA forecast of £0.4m thanks to a near 3 percentage point improvement in gross margins . CNSL is continuing to invest in further operational improvements as well as sales & marketing despite the Q1 sales hiccup , which was all about destocking . |
Posted at 24/10/2024 14:37 by one2go It does make you wonder how long some of the larger shareholders will put up with this market lethargy, the company seems comatose at the PR level with recent changes of the BOD making no effect. The interim CEO is a total unknown, he came from the consulting group CNSL were using to improve productivity, well they surely did that hence those stellar final results. CNSL is in one of the best positions for a minnow listed on AIM, namely it has plenty of cash and no need for dilutive placings. The price action here has been on low volume and it never takes much buying to move the dial, make no mistake the share price has been a material disappointment, the next results could be a catalyst for upside. Not long to wait. |
Posted at 15/10/2024 14:53 by thecoyone Good riddance to Walbrook if they have dispensed them, they were quite useless. The company uses the Investor Meet platform for it's live results Q&A and presentation event, Cavendish the broker have produced some stellar research notes with good analysis. The most recent being the 10p target price. The issue appears to be getting the wider investment community interested, they seem to have no understanding how to promote, for example, this morning one peer company RNS'ed their move into another jurisdiction but CNSL have moved into numerous ones and not a murmur. I still believe the best outcome for shareholders would be by way of a takeover approach, this outfit would slot nicely into a larger peer group, they are wide open for a bid with cash accounting for 70% of the current m/cap. Current price is a great entry point. |
Posted at 15/10/2024 14:35 by poppa wobbler Davidosh. The people to arrange for CNS to present at Mello would usually have been CNS's PR company, Walbrook. Omega Diagnostics / CNS have been one of Walbrook's clients for donkeys' years. But looking at recent RNSs, Walbrook were on the list of contacts up until 22 April 2024:But their services seem to have been dispensed with from thereon. So at present, CNS do not appear to have a PR company. That seems a bit odd! |
Posted at 26/9/2024 14:36 by silverspoon2009 Nothing available online currently even with IG, last time this happened there was a strong share price move.Someone posted a link on LSE to the broker coverage and 10p target price via a tweet from CNSL |
Posted at 25/9/2024 08:18 by yasxii Gentlemen,I am pleased to see that Cavendish have produced a note ahead of tomorrows AGM and AGM Statement to market. All one needs to know from the coverage today is they deem CNSL shares 'compelling value' and point to the 'fast-growing and lucrative food-sensitivity testing market' that this outfit specialises in. Their 10p target price remains. |
Posted at 25/9/2024 07:44 by bomber13 There is a detailed 23 page report out on CNSL from Cavendish this morning .No change to their 10p target price or forecasts for the current year to March , 2025 , but lots of material on food sensitivity , the size of the global opportunity , the competition , the outlook and the valuation . Full marks for releasing this a day before the AGM update , perhaps it was planned that way ? I am not allowed to post the document , but I believe it can be accessed for free either through Cavendish or Research Tree . |
Posted at 30/7/2024 14:01 by bomber13 Herewith the link to the results presentation FYI -I thought that both the CEO and new COO came across confidently , and bullishly . There is clearly some price competition , but we were told customer retention is high thanks to the digital innovation and efficiencies , and it is still very early days in the USA . Also , thanks to the COO's initiatives , CNSL itself is more competitive , and free of any capacity constraints at the old plant in Ely , which clearly they are keeping , for now . Interesting to note that the CEO has bought stock after the final results in each of the last 2 years , and firmly stated in the recent Q&A that CNSL was " absolutely undervalued " . He was one of a handful of directors who exercised options and sold in the market in February 2021 at 87.3p . However , since that time he has bought back over 10X the amount of shares he sold then , and now has a holding of around 2.5m shares , just over 1% of the equity . The over 2m shares he has bought since February 2021 have an average cost of around 3.3p per share , so not far from current levels . It would certainly be a strong message to investors to see him and other directors buying in the market in the days or weeks ahead . |
Posted at 19/7/2024 07:42 by kingston78 Recently there have been large volumes of trading in some hot small cap stocks, pushing some of them up by over 100% or more quickly. The share chart of CNSL is rising again, and if the mid-price at 4 p holds the share will push upwards towards 5 and 6 p quickly. A barrier is difficult to break, but once broken, there is a quantum leap. I hope that the share price after the announcement of result and investors presentation will double to 8 p. I have also noticed that some traders rotate by targeting to push up one or two stocks and then hunt another target. I hope that they will land on here to push up the share price of CNSL. |
Posted at 22/4/2024 11:21 by thecoyone My understanding is it is being strongly contested and CNSL have also put in what they describe as a very significant counter claim.CNSL legal advice implies they have no liability to repay it, on the contrary in fact. The Gov have not been responding to CNSL so that in itself is a sign they (the Gov) are potentially liable to pay damages, I have followed this matter extensively. So far the new team at CNSL have hardly put a foot out of place. |
