The Chairman's Blog

Chairman's blog 21 December 2015

Dear Shareholders,

This is my first blog since July and it is already approaching the end of the year. My intention was to communicate with shareholders more frequently than this, but it is often the case that there is either not enough to be said, or much that cannot be said.

It has been a very busy year for CMR:
Our joint venture Masa Valverde project has advanced over 28,000 metres of drilling and our partners exercised their option to take 40% of the business. The ownership situation at Masa Valverde is under constant review, and this may change shortly. Our wholly-owned Andalucia project has advanced towards its drilling campaign, which is now expected in early 2016. Many hurdles are to be overcome before actually commencing work, and I believe that we are close to overcoming the remaining difficulties. At our AGM in November all resolutions were duly passed. We have commenced an Open Offer to shareholders to assist in financing the Company’s plan to re-list on AIM. Finance is key to our plans. As we all know the stock market has had a very difficult year with miners hit particularly hard and commodity prices struggling. There is no doubt that this is an extremely difficult period in which to raise funds. There is a very bleak attitude to commodities currently, and the outlook is still uncertain. Thanks to all those shareholders who have supported the company in the current fund raise. I personally have continued also to provide finance, and I believe that the tide will turn and this will prove to be a very advantageous time to invest.

I wish all shareholders a very happy Christmas and New Year.

Yours sincerely

Geoffrey Hall

lochlea, don't waste time arguing with this filth. Instead, when he's in court facing charges re his long career of investment fraud, chuckle.

Don't engage with me LM........ just tell me which Company you claim to have had shares issued in escrow that you "have actually done it with"??????

LOL

Nobody but nobody has criticised the management of this Company more than me. On this forum and direct with individual directors who I have engaged with in the past, threatening legal action against them for misrepresentation (over the issuance of Iberian Gold Bonds to CMR shareholders). But as one of those directors of IBG/CMR was a barrister in London I decided to back down.

Some of this correspondence was copied onto a BB.

However it does highlight your accusations against me are wholly wrong. No surprise there then.

You won't hear about the listing until after January when it closes.

I am sure there will be some board changes on the way now Mr Burton has gone. Probably investment too. Glencore are pressing ahead with Spain.

Why? They will never re-list unless perhaps there was a total clean out of the board!

I got my shares from the open offer. Well pleased.

(i) you don't know it has, and

(ii) there was nothing to stop it as your suggestion of new issued shares being held in escrow was unmanageable, probably not legal and certainly never likely to be accepted by creditors (existing or potential).

...... apart from that it was a good idea!!!

Pretty pathetic they haven't even said how much was actually raised with the original 'Open Offer'.

I just hope that whatever money they managed to raise recently isn't getting used to pay off any of Burton's outstanding remuneration & expense packages....... or Slater's.

Loch: Please try harder to sound surprised. CMR will not relist as investors with half a brain know they are 'uninvestible', (if there is such a word) is my opinion

You'd think that if there was ever a time for the management of a Company to be vocal with ultra enthusiasm & endeavour & regular updates regarding their own activity then this would be it.
If nothing else it might stimulate & excite existing shareholders/investors to lend further financial support at a critical stage.

But instead CMR do what they are good at doing. Radio silence mode. Like how the Masonic Lodge operate. I remember when Mr Hall first appeared on the scene he was posting updates on HIS blog like there was no tomorrow and promising to be open and transparent with shareholders from then on with regular blog postings. Hardly been true the last 18 months or so, has it?
