I see mogwhy has done some figures for average prices for first six months and got to $35.4 averaging across the three main markets. But he hasn't taken to account the 13% import tax in China. I know bmn get a nitrovan premium but that's discounted in a rising market as there a 1 month lag in achieved prices. Couple with bbn s figures for costs bmn has made a loss in the first half of the year.

Orion clns at 17p and they tend to invest for the medium term (2-3 years) so any conversion will only be worthwhile over 30p

Orion are not being repayed you haven't done enough research they have clns and a lifetime royalty deal. There is an option to part repay Orion clns but at this moment in time that doesn't look likely .

Spanish your comments here demonstrate only you have part knowledge on bmn before you start making sweeping statements you should do some more research.

For once I agree with you gah. Bbn has spoken on twitter . And his post says costs are $36500 per MTV this year. This fall's in line closely with what I have been saying.

GAH before you post any more profit figures why don't you read some more.bmn us unlikely at this moment to be averaging $36.5 because China has import tax of 13% and there is 1 month lag in price at the start of the year the v price wasless than $30. Bmn is probably loss making so far this year .I'd suggest the Spanish guy should review his figures and GAH should stop making up his to fit an agenda.

gah, anyone who trades forex will tell you how it works, correlation between currency pairs, zar is a commodity currency. Higher commodity prices are excellent for the SA economy that in turn attracts investors.

Same with AUS, CAD and many others.

There's many who believe the zar is getting stronger against usd

BBN unable to work out why cash balances have dwindled so much, cash balance after receiving orion loan and $13 million from shares.

Talks of expenditure but clearly forgets to spell out orion loan repayment plus interest and the fact there's a few million of shares yet to be dumped into market.

Financial calamity.

If V prices hit $55 for remainder of year it is highly unlikely company will turn a profit this year or next is exactly what I am saying.

Higher the V price, commodities in general, the weaker the dollar and stronger the zar, that's how it works. $55 in V terms will in all probability be same as $45 in todays money.

Lack of clarity here so jumping out and will see where the share price goes . Looks like it’s on a steady drift down and holders here hardly inspire any confidence . Good luck.

The Orion $65 m is now only $30....where has all the money gone and as per my previous post after this year's capex and duferco debt has been repaid only leaves $5-6 m is left . So without further +ve cash flow or new cash bmn is not funded today to its 2022 5000 MTV year end moveable goal. Nobody will know until the end of the year what the capex and actual goal will be as they are doing this review of resequencing etc in the last three months if the year . Clearly the cash position will be part of this review.

Yes that's over the top. But do you mean price to hit $55 or a $55 average for the year. Clearly if the price hits $55 by the end of the year and it started it at about $30 that would indicate a $42.5 average at which bmn will likely be in net profit. I'd guess about $10-$13. So probably meant peak . If bmn averages $55 net profit could be $35 million at a quick guess. It's unlikely we will see a $55 average this year but not impossible. I'm awaiting share price angels forecast as they need redoing. Anyone reading should do there only research as my figures are just calculated guesses. There are posters also who just make stuff up to support their agenda....

Kenny, from my rough calculations they need north of $55 vanadium prices to break even going by previous years accounts and taking account increased production costs. Quite how the improvements are to be paid for you can only explain this by company assumptions that vanadium prices are going to rocket fairly soon.

ZAR is looking strong against the dollar, an unwelcomed headache as that increases costs further. Potentially looking at a sub zar14 exchange rate over coming sessions.

House of cards, financially it's on a cliffs edge some just can't see it or just to hoodwinked by the flow battery aspect.

Hi PATT, ive taken a swipe at IRON. Also got Vanadium, super cheap, and rumoured deal on the horizon to get a smelter in place.

Im very sad to see whats happened here to the share price.

Good luck to all holders.

(No holding here, but how much further can it fall?)

Some thoughts on cash from rns: as of June cash is $31million. Capex is $26.8 m for 2021 and so far spent $8.6m.so $18.2m more to spend. Leaving $11.1 m. There is duferco to pay in Nov which is c 6.2 mill ( includes interest) so leaves $5.9 million. Having burned through $65 million Orion funds in just over a year how will $5.9 be enough?

I've seen the likes of GAH say bmn is fully funded to 5000 MTV...but from above existing cash just related to capex will only be $5.9 million by the end of the year. No surprise they are resequencing and concentrating on cost savings.
