Anybody who thinks that the share price is not linked to the Vanadium price needs to look at data before 2021. You are never going to get a direct, 100% relationship but it is strong nevertheless. As such, eventually the Vanadium price rises will translate into share price rises. It may already have done so but let's not get carried away with how high the Vanadium price is. Compared with 2018 it is still in the foothills. If it goes to those levels again the share price would be sky high - higher than previously.

We live in an era where Qanon conspiracies are listened to rather than laughed at. On that basis, if you convert the letters into numbers and apply a suitable algorithm based on Fortune's birthday and the square root of pi, I am sure that you can get to 'big news coming Monday'.

How the hell does this tweet translate into big news coming Monday as some are saying?

“We have entered the new financial year on a positive footing with secured funding, higher production for the year, and a rising vanadium price," says Fortune Mojapelo, CEO of Bushveld Minerals”.

We are in our third year of share price depression and mediocre performance and news.

It seems they have taken onboard my complaints about their constant failures and decided to be more pragmatic about rising expectations. It doesn’t forgive their failings to date though.

With the replacement VRFB at ESKOM firmly brushed under the carpet that makes it a 100% failure rate for BE. All 3 of their communicated projects to trial VRFB’s since their inception have failed to materialise.

What is this Twitter rumor regarding Fortune's tweet this am
Mention of it on LSE thread

correct vauch.....but I see short/medium term drops as an opportunity. IMO the free cash flows in 2 years will be undeniable and the share price will reflect these cashflows. So, if it drops right now that is excellent as I simply get more shares. I look at number of shares not % profit when it is a long term prospect.

I am a glass half full person.

I used to think that the value of the product of a company impacted its share price. Now I know better. However, given that V prices never fall I have not been able to check whether our share price is inversely related to our product price.

Therefore, the price of V has risen again. Which is bad news.
Ferro V 50% China +2.02%
Ferro V 80% Rott +0.72%
V Pent 98% Rott +1.61%

More seriously, having digested the figures from yesterday I think BMN has delivered a very measured statement that is not promising the moon. 21% of sales now in China (up from 18% last year and 3% the year before) and output to rise materially with the new kilns also coming on board.

At these share prices a really good accumulator. I have my core holding and had not added for a few months until this week. There were more exciting and immediate opportunities out there (AGL, NEX, SAGA, MCRO) but now that those are fully dealt with BMN looks excellent value for the next 24 months and IMO a serious one way bet.

I expect at least one person to tell me that I have got this all wrong and we are doomed.

I reckon we will get a slew of RNS's over the next few weeks. IMO they are waiting for ESKOM (but I could easily and most likely be wrong).

However, I am in a very good mood as AGL has started rising strongly again so everybody take a short holiday.

There is still some truth in the divestment theory of BE. By bringing Belco over from BE provides a clearer separation of the 2 companies. BE will now need to buy electrolyte from BMN.

At the end of the conference call Fortune eluded to news coming from Enerox. Is Enerox expanding production into SA via BE?

JC: No hype. We’ve had 5 years of hype ever since we bought Vametco and launched BE. I want sales and production from BE. They should be the drivers for Vanadium production.

They have even gone totally silent on the replacement VRFB at ESKOM. What’s happening with it? Is it a right off and no longer worth any news or progressing?

Why nothing on Lemur if only to say things are delayed, because they are.

A 35 day shut down. You can imagine how the share price will react when the Q1 numbers come out sometime in May or June!!!!

Short term mining indigestion v long term VFRB potential! I thought they would spin out some of the battery bits but guess they need to progress the various initiatives further and see how Eskom falls. Maybe more details on the conf call

Same old, same old. No details on anything.

No Lemur news.
The electrolyte plant still hasn’t started construction.
A small mini grid is taking years to put together.
35 day shut down to come.
Q4 numbers down.
Costs up.
More dross about sales pipelines at BE.

And we’re to draw from this dull report that we’re going to win significant contracts from ESKOM? I don’t think so.

And as suspected Schmid are planning to get Vanadium for their production from spent catalysts in country.

There’s nothing in the 2021 plan to suggest any significant news to come.

Good news for all of us. Looks like they are progressing along the Vanchem development well.

I must admit Plat I am well impressed. You seem to have that really sorted! Excellent.
I like the way everybody has their way or trading/finding value and yours works.
I tend not to trade very much at all. Just move some money around when I have insufficient new funds to buy the new value shares.
Keep it up

This company looks interesting. They are extracting vanadium from black shales and also concentrating on battery storage. Listed in Sweden and now also Germany.
