That would be excellent news.

The dividend policy was always expected towards the end of the financial year, so its around 4 days late atm. The company has since said that they will inform the market in Q1.

Nickel,For someone who wants to rubbish what other people say then you need to stick to facts. It was actually expected Q2 2018.Q3 + Q4 + Q1 is 9 months.

Nick Good to see you swapping boards. Good luck with Plat. I found that neither logic nor hard facts worked.

On dividends, Fortune mentioned last year that ha wanted a dividend policy in place that provided capital discipline for the company. It is affordable as today's posts on the LSE board show - EBITDA for the year just ended likely to exceed $120m. With no debt that is a convincing figure to me.

I think those holding short positions however realise that their time is now very limited and the tactics being used are becoming more obvious and less effective.

Good luck all - BMN is one of the best medium-term investments on AIM and still at a great entry price.

Plat, you do have a lot to say for someone who seems to know nothing about the company or indeed the vanadium market.

They haven't put the dividend policy back 9 months. It was expected by year end, now its Q1.

The vanadium market is in structural deficit. There isn't anywhere near enough supply to meet demand. There is no significant new supply coming on line for at least 2 to 3 years, more probably 3 to 5 years. The vanadium price will rise significantly over this period.

BMN is in the perfect place at the perfect time.

Good luck with your investment.

Don't be so sure, they've already pushed back just the talking and agreeing a framework by 9 months. If V price continues to fall then they'll have to invest in capex to produce more at smaller margins and possibily dilution risk. Many here are failing to see how volatile and small the V market it and how it can effect a company like BMN. Of course they'll be bullish on matters of V price, they sell it.

You are correct. The announcement due is related to a dividend policy rather than a dividend per se and this has been highlighted in media releases. To my recollection, there has never been an announcement regarding dividends, whether policy or otherwise, mentioned in an RNS. My experience is that putting a dividend in place tends to follow on quite quickly from establishing the policy.

Vauch you do have trouble reading for some reason.. Where does is it say a dividend will be announced in Q1?My understanding is that the framework of a dividend policy will be completed in Q 1But that is a world away from saying they'll actually annouce dividends in Q1.

RichKen - as someone who posts on both Advfn and LSE I wanted to share the following: what those halfwits on LSE don't realise is that my new name was actually a tribute to Corbine - rocacorba is one of the toughest mountain climbs in world cycling and requires endurance and strength two characteristics that I'm sure were synonymous of Corbine plus you may recall I was more than happy to donate to the Corbine cup as Maurice G. I wish you all the best with ur situation and also mention that ur post from last night was very moving.
