A little late buying in but the Moncler chatter it makes total sense with BRBY at its current valuation, so I'm in. One would except a first offer north of £11. |

Miss Tweed said any deal would likely involve a mix of cash and shares given that Moncler does not have sufficient cash to be able to buy Burberry.
The report said that Bernard Arnault, the controlling shareholder of LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE, which has recently indirectly taken a stake in Moncler, is supportive of the deal. |
Bidders are circling..also Dec is make or break season. Hence share price will drift hight till end of year which is least resistance rather than going down DYOR. |
It was more interesting as a buy at 550p than 850p, that's for sure. if the bid talk fades, they will probably drift below 750p. |
Market do not think much of a premium from the current price. I recon if bid comes it will be 1000p +++ May be 1250p |

Well with a market cap of 14 billion BRBY will make a tasty morsel for it,I suppose the usual 40% premium sold for a song useless UK management at work again .
Great at awarding themselves unwarranted bonus payments and free shares nothing else running a business into the ground seems to come as second nature to them.
I do hope that J.Akeroyd had to repay his bonus and stock options. |
