Another post hrs + 1 mill trade |
23rd of September, Bank of America cut their target to 475p. I lambasted them at the time. Literally, you could not find bigger idiots |
LVMH looking for bargains, BRBY doing well in China |
"Tapestry Inc.’s $8.5 billion acquisition of Michael Kors owner Capri Holdings Ltd. has been handbagged." This was the only news that caused the rise in share price last week. No proposed takeover of Burberry even in the pipeline, That Tapestry acquisition will be appealed in any case. I would have thought BRBY only likely to be a takeover target at a much lower price than today's price of around 750-800. China stimulus details 4-11th November likely to provide more detail which the market awaits but consumer spending not likely to increase until late next year / 2026. UK budget 7th November mooted to be biggest tax increases in decades. One for the SIPP at lower prices if you don't need a return for a couple of years and / or want capital growth. Div currently suspended. |
LVMH moving in, escaping EUBRBY hot in ChinaEasy take over |
New trading range, past 3 month range, £8-10 now.Let us hope LVMH does not get it too cheaply! |
Burberry needs their chavs back, to pump things up |
#Viking24, it does look like someone is building a position here, no big trades but 000s of small ones seconds apart, an interesting watch, I do hold but aim to double down subject to the interim results and turnaround strategy progress update on 14th Nov, no dividend for 24 and probably 25 but could bring a nice CG if the numbers show a bottom or any signs of progress.. |
Breaking 3 month highs, interesting to see if any post hrs prints of interest. |
scepticalinvestor been real quiet recently |
Bloomberg reporting the Coach takeover of Capri has been blocked by the monopolies commission, MnA consolidation in the space could perhaps lead them to look further afield.. :o)
BRBY having a better run this month, hopefully the floor is/was in at 600 pence.. |
great short at 720 this morning big resistance |
Just entered my first position on this stock.Felt at 635p entry price a few days ago, this was turning around, at around this point. Worst case could drop sub 500p, but if it did would average down and double or more my position. Started well, but still expecting noise before full uturn and sustained growth. Sure, it will eventually come good. If for once I timed this perfect, luck rather than precise knowledge will increase my position on upturn and average up. Love the brand and it's worth much more than this going forward! |
Wicked offer considering that we are all short at 661? |
Interesting goings on at Mulberry ?
'REVISED POSSIBLE OFFER
Under the terms of the Revised Possible Offer, Mulberry Shareholders would be entitled to receive:
for each Mulberry Share 150 pence in cash (the "Consideration")'. |
Burberry have new media star leading Burberry's latest fashion campaign. Expect M&A rumours in the stock, too cheap at these levels. |
Will drop below 400p , their design very much back dated |
3.84% short, significant, Marshall Wace main ruler in that respect.
rather sticky wicket (who is backing)? |
New management, new designer, short covering, Chinese money into the economy and some of the oversold well known names well snapped up by LMVH one by one, still oversold at these levels. |
Shorters favourite stocks atm |
Hello, I have been watching BRBY for a while now. I definitely think it is worth having in the pf, wonder if anyone thinks the same? |
