CatNext thing I reckon is tel line compulsory for internet only use. That's got to go. Ofcom are killing BT in my opinion.

Sold what small holding I had this morning. BT might as well change their name to OfcomBT group.
They are being stripped to the bone. What next?

My apologies here peeps, brokers have taken this down 20 pence to trigger my stop(never use) within the t-10 period, now t-11 so perhaps we can now settle down and move back up to 345 my short term target!

Just for clarification the FT posted Ofcoms proposals to introduce controls on fibre broadband products at 07.30 this morning, a good 20 minutes before Monty. Also the article states the new controls could have been worse however as Ofcom has allowed for Openreach to invest in its G.Fast network that speeds up copper lines to deliver ultrafast speeds. A move to install charge controls on everything except full fibre lines would have been more onerous for BT.

LONDON--The U.K.'s communications regulator Friday said it plans to cut the price telecommunications company BT Group PLC's (BT.A.LN) infrastructure business Openreach can charge other telecoms companies for its high speed broadband network.

Ofcom plans to reduce the charge from 88.80 pounds ($111) a year to GBP52.77 by 2020-21. The reduction will likely be passed on to telecoms companies' customers, leading to lower bills, Ofcom said.

I reckon Ofcom will make Openreach cut their margins they can charge to rivals over wholesale fibre. To me that's the next thing.
