On a technical point, it's the last day of the first quarter tomorrow. I think some funds may sell, because they have to justify why they are still holding at their quarterly reviews.Going to be interesting.I been bearish ever since Woodford sold he's entire stake, what a brilliant move from him.

£872m gone in a flash, I don't call that peanuts when it could have gone to reducing £10 billion pension deficit.

Monty. How much as a percentage are those fines compared to revenue. Future worries aside, Will it cripple them as a business? These are the questions you need to ask when evaluating a business just stating figures. (Like random price targets) means nothing on its own.

I think the correction is over monty, we bounced nicely off the 61.8% retrace of move up from Jan low. Whilst we could of course fall further I think we'll see a rise to 380-400 from here which will be a 50% retrace of the move down since jan 2016.

Takes two views to make a market ;-)

I am surprised it took you so long to get around the course. The amount of time you have on your hands to play it, you must be close to a pro by now!! ;-D

I know what you mean nige. If Gavin was a football manager would you sack him LOL.
Well apparently we will have to wait for his book to come out before we know the
goings on behind the scenes.
In reality Openreach still owned by BT and that is a massive plus. However according to the tabloid press BT caved in.BT won that argument hands down,in different times (Brexit) we could have been going to the European courts to decide this matter.Ofcom have had their pound of flesh though with the fines but the worse is behind us now. Remember BT still retains Openreach and will continue to have the revenue and the ultimate final say.

The Dark Horse.. Would you mind posting a chart to demonstrate what you mean, as I for one would be really interested to see it. I also like your idea of a quick 61.8% retrace!!! :@)

...very depressing - every day the share price dips lower...what needs to happen for a steady climb upwards ?? ...thought after the Ofcom agreement a few weeks back that would be the case...maybe a senior management change is what's needed

wouldn't surprise me excell1 - it just closed the gap formed mid Feb when it opened +5 and completed a 61.8% retrace of the move up from Jan low. A good place for a bounce...
