26/2/2017 13:17 | Monti:Be honest for a change.stoxx is not on your filter list or else you unfiltered himTo read what he was saying. otherwise you would not have known that he commented on you or felt inclined to respond after Stoxx posted.Btw you are not on my filter list. Far too amusing to read your posts. Always brings a smile.Would not wish to miss out on that. | harvester
26/2/2017 13:11 | Keep posting your own book Monty. No one here takes a blind bit of notice. | excell1
26/2/2017 13:03 | Good old stoxx idiot poster, been on my filter list for years. Dow straight 11 day ups, can it last. Interesting week ahead. | montyhedge
26/2/2017 12:47 | Certainly going to miss outgoing chairman he steadied the ship in rough waters. Guy from HSBC in the race, well they have had their problems. | montyhedge
25/2/2017 09:46 | Douglas Flint and Jan du Plessis lead race to be BT chairman Appointment expected soon amid moves to strengthen board following scandal in Italy | spellbrook
25/2/2017 09:46 | good old MontyDon anyone who follows him does so at their own risk,he has been on my filtered list for Years.. in this game , best to make your own decisions based on whatever mantra you decide works for you, Technical Analysis or Fundamentals or a combination of the 2 (works for me). good luck all. | stoxx67
25/2/2017 09:42 | ... Until news comes... What about the news that BT linked up major foreign exchanges? That seems significant news to me. To win such prestigious business the company needs to provide top-class state-of-theatre hardware & software for top-speed transactions. | harvester
25/2/2017 09:33 | monti: A superior strategist as well as the No 1 trader.I am very impressed. | harvester
25/2/2017 09:20 | DynamicThe long/short strategy works for me, don't forget I'm a trader not an investor. Shares get over bought on the way up and over sold on the way down. BT at 297p were over sold and 335p over bought. So I think the right price until news comes along is 320p. But hey everyone to their own. | montyhedge
24/2/2017 13:00 | Monty,I respect everyone has a right to their perspective and how that makes one feel and may have felt some concerns when the share price was in the high 400s but have found that rapid overdone falls and rises have a habit of normalising to middle ground in the absence of a significant unknown factor. From my perspective the intrinsic value is much higher than current level and am expecting it to be closer to 400 than 300 by end of 2017 but don't expect a straight line rise.I would also not be surprised if AT&T or one of the other global behemoth or wannabes leverage the current value and £ weakness to make a move for BT as the value equation for an overseas player is more attractive than it has been for a long long time.I am enjoying the ride and expect to achieve a significant return this year.Good luck with whatever strategy works best for you. | dynamic2005
24/2/2017 12:50 | Monty, you think from going to bull to bear on these threads to mirror your own trading position can influence the price? If so you're a muppet of larger proportions than many give you credit for... | brando69
24/2/2017 12:49 | Dynamic Run up to quickly, you know what they say about profit warnings they come along in three's we have had the first one, I'm just waiting for the second. Then Ofcom to put in their findings. Then pension deficit see how much that as grown.Apart from that things look fine. Lol | montyhedge
24/2/2017 12:05 | Pull back from nearly £4 was cruel and grossly overdone. BT was lambasted by the BT Italian offshoot but it's only 1% of turnover and certainly didn't warrant the 20% fall in the share price.EE will be nicely adding to revenues now and director buys certainly confirm this to me. | excell1
24/2/2017 11:42 | I see pull-up to 337+ next week. Intrinsic value being recognised. | dynamic2005
24/2/2017 11:25 | When will this be Please? | jvin
24/2/2017 11:14 | I see this pullback to 320p. Bears finished closing. | montyhedge
24/2/2017 10:08 | King kong dong. That sir makes a lot of sense. Been doing the same for years, keeping your feet firmly on the ground and being smug underneath. | veryniceperson
24/2/2017 09:33 | Good run. Not great ;-) Great was (in a bad way) a 20% drop in a few days! Alas, things go down a lot faster than they go up! | chiefbrody
24/2/2017 09:16 | Great run, up 10% in 2 weeks. | montyhedge
24/2/2017 09:14 | personally, a few hundred here, a grand or so there, with an eye on capital security -gets me the ability to be self employed, a nice car, a place in Spain and some quality holidays. For me to move to the 'next level' that would mean, the car could be better, my income would be better, the place in Spain could be better and the holidays could be better It would also mean risking going bust through sheer greed. Find your level and keep an eye on your bankroll. | king kong dong
24/2/2017 09:08 | Very oversold, will go higher to 347p resistance first. At least it's back in the channel but needs to climb above 380p to breakout out of the channel. | ny boy
24/2/2017 09:08 | The thing is, being a big hitting trader with £10,000pp shorts mean, as well as getting a really pukey feeling to the stomach, you have to also come on here pretenting to have closed 1st thing. Not that pretending is difficult for some. And while you're deciding whether to throw in the towel or not, yo get a call from your broker telling you they've closed you out anyhow, and please could you send a cheque for fifty grand at your earliest convenience. | pierre oreilly
24/2/2017 08:44 | yes....gonna be a strong day for sure | king kong dong
24/2/2017 08:43 | 300p short stop losses starting to ping imo | kmann
24/2/2017 08:32 | this one not stopping now | funkey n |
