24/1/2017 13:53 | This is a profits warning, forget Italy. Look at the detail. I see 280p after we get broker downgrades and press comment. Paterson should go. | montyhedge
24/1/2017 13:49 | Trend is down, support is £2 | spadman
24/1/2017 13:46 | At the right price I suppose ;-) 'BT could face a Teutonic takeover in 2019' | philanderer
24/1/2017 13:42 | The moster volume on this down move should alarm any thinking of jumping in here. Its very important but generally disregarded by PI.I's It will fall further still the next few weeks. Just look at other high volume falls in shares such as Capita,Tesco, and many others etc and see what happened subsequent to that. Almost all fell further after a small DCB. Bounce trading you may make a few pennies of course.imho Be careful folks...... | pineapple1
24/1/2017 13:42 | Senior management got the golden goodbye yet?...a 50% fall from 500p would bring it down to 250 - 280p....anybody think a good possibility whilst punters pilling in today...sucker them in or they get spat out.... | diku
24/1/2017 13:38 | ....Mr Lowth (Finance Director) said BT would now reflect on how the Italian accounting issues were missed by both its own senior management and its auditors but that it was “too premature” to say whether it would take action. PwC were auditors for BT Italia, according to a person with knowledge of the situation, although BT declined to comment. FT | philanderer
24/1/2017 13:28 | Looks like the BT bosses don`t know what`s going on in their own company. Are there more areas where the auditors didn`t look ? | tyranosaurus
24/1/2017 12:58 | Short term everyone is guessing, longer term depends on the news flow. rb, the volume is incredible. | essentialinvestor
24/1/2017 12:58 | New 52 week low today: 308.55 | minerve
24/1/2017 12:55 | Maybe maybe not. | blueball
24/1/2017 12:50 | Further to fall I reckon. | montyhedge
24/1/2017 12:48 | Markets had 5 hours to digest the news and the price is still on the floor, not looking good. The volume levels are already up there with the levels of the 2008 financial crisis with half a day still to go. | rb5
24/1/2017 12:44 | Thanks Essential.... | hubshank
24/1/2017 12:43 | Hubs, no guarantee all negative news is known, so there is an uncertainty discount. If today's statement represents the sum total, risk/reward looks more than reasonable on a longer term view, just IMV only. | essentialinvestor
24/1/2017 12:12 | Just back from hospital, what a disaster. Told broker this was a dog from the day he recommended buying them Monty should resign along with the BT board. | philo124
