Interesting to see the OP posted only the lowest lead poll, try looking at all the polls from last weekend (source hxxp://ukpollingreport.co.uk) before the conservative manifesto launch but after the labour launch:

BMG/Independent – CON 41%(+4), LAB 28%(-1), LDEM 18%(+2), BREX 3%(-6). Fieldwork Tuesday to Thursday, with changes from last week.
YouGov/Sunday Times – CON 42%(nc), LAB 30%(nc), LDEM 16%(+1), BREX 3%(-1). Fieldwork Thursday and Friday, with changes from mid-week.
Opinium/Observer – CON 47%(+3), LAB 28%(nc), LDEM 12%(-2), BREX 3%(-3). Fieldwork Wednesday to Friday, with changes from last week.
Deltapoll/Mail on Sunday – CON 43%(-2), LAB 30%(nc), LDEM 16%(+5), BREX 3%(-3). Fieldwork Thursday and Friday, with changes from last week.
SavantaComres/Sunday Express – CON 42%(nc), LAB 32%(+1), LDEM 15%(nc), BREX 5%(nc). Fieldwork Wednesday and Thursday, with changes from midweek.
Panelbase – CON 42%(-1), LAB 32%(+2), LDEM 14%(-1), BREX 3%(-2). Fieldwork was Wednesday to Friday, changes from last week

Also Kantar poll just out today with 11 point lead (Cons 43% Labour 32%) but interestingly also showing 89% of conservatives firmly intend to vote while labour figure is lower at 75%.

Statistics and polls are just indicators, what counts is the vote on the day but at very least look at an average of polls not just one.

As for BT, if poll lead maintains a majority conservative result on the 12th, expect relief rally anyway and would expect uplift in price several days before the 12th.

Elections unpredictable these days there's huge tranches of the population that have to allow their spouse to vote for them on top of which we have a relatively well educated section that know how vote in from multiple addresses and where to look for discarded voting forms.

General Election Polls 2019: The big Conservative poll lead isn't nearly as big as it looks

This is a complicated election, and the Conservative poll lead obscures a fragile national picture

Tories are 1 to 25 to win, by the bookies, virtually a done deal, then it's a case of majority or hung. But Corbyn no way will be in power. The Santa Rally will start. That's why I think BT is the right share to buy, plus dividend has well.

BT one of the best bets on the election outcome, if you think Labour win, don't buy, Tory win to me BT a buy.Tories 1 to 25 on to win. Shareprice will take off on 13th December, my view.
