I'm just happy that a lot of people have an entry point in mind.
ie 'when' not 'if'.
I am happy with my recent entry level, it would have been nice to get another 5 or 10% lower but hey. GLA.

from the guardian article

It is – just about – possible to think the worst has passed. The grand three-year restructuring will save £1.5bn a year eventually and has a two-year payback. An affordable settlement with the pension trustees has been agreed. The group still expects to generate £2.4bn of cash this year, enough in theory to cover a dividend costing £1.5bn.

They will be saving £1.5 billion a year. That saving alone equals the annual dividend! Strong buy.

BT has the best dividend cover in the FTSE. And at this rate, soon the highest yield...lol
A high yield has nothzing to do with cover!

That's a pretty fair assessment, however the '19 free cash flow Nils quotes
is surely pre pension contributions, so the dividend over the next 12 months,
and likely longer, looks uncovered. That's why the yield is north of 7%.

If it's free, won't it be in SD, with those that are paying, getting HD/4K.

They are not showing it free for everyone. Firstly, if you are one of the 10% of UK homes still without internet access then no Champions league final unless of course you ask your neighbours nicely. Secondly, if you are an existing BT Sport subscriber then you ARE paying for it!!!!
