Has Corbyn said he would nationalise telecoms, I know he is gunning for railways, energy and water, but, never heard him say he would go after BT. To be honest nationalising these industries and shafting shareholders would make the UK appear like a rogue state into which no one will invest. The policies of the hard left would destroy the economy and after a term or two they would be in opposition again for a decade or more. I'm a buyer at these levels,

BT going no lower than225-6 Then it would need adverse event. Interest rates still low compared with earnings and dividend. There is no comparison with the circumstances that led to the 77p share price when interest rates much higher and every reason to prefer cash in the Building Society. The shares are cheap just that not being bought so much whilst political risk but at these price levels no great reason to sell unless you are desperate for the money.

Confiscation makes perfect sense when you have a guaranteed 7 figure final salary package from the Government like McDonnell and Corbyn. Market investments are for the plebs and Guardian reading elites can then have fun taking pops at wealth extractors. Hell will freeze over before lefties like University lecturers have to earn their pensions from the Markets and not the magic of Defined Benefit.

Until then the Market is fair game with special dispensation for houses in Islington. Immediately buying 20,000 homes for the homeless should ensure all is well on that front.

But Nationalisation means confiscation without compensation. No chance of Labour being elected. They could get elected with anyone but Corbyn or O'Donnell.

If Corbyn gets elected atnext general election, Labour would be able to buy this 'dog'
pretty cheap.....perhaps under £1.50 to bring back under state control!

How much longer will the people on the old pension scheme take to die off? Surely in time employees will be on cheaper pension terms so the deficit will eventually dissipate ?

All businesses have risk and BT is no exception.
But in 5 years time this will be seen as a great entry point price.
Total return will be impressive.
