How can just one person be responsible for a company worth say 20bln or 30bln with 1000's of employees...CEO's are merely a spoke person on behalf of the company, staff, shareholders, Diner/Corporate parties functions etc etc...most haven't got a clue what goes on within their companies on day to day basis... they dependent upon regional Directors/Managers lower down...and it is never CEO's fault when something goes pear shaped...hence they walk away with golden goodbye intact as it is inserted in their contract...onto the next project merry go round...
