The issue here, is the yield trap being justifier for holding the capital kill

Seen it so many times, globally

SP goes down and down , people buy more so yield makes up for the capital reduction. Etc etc

Next thing, stuck in a 0-1% yielded ar 40p, with no income funds coming back. Happened banks

Dangerous game. I think the whole sector yield average first needs ro hit 0 or not far off, then get sector debt down...and maybe in 10 years, can bring yield back again. Maybe. They need to find a way to reduce the constant capital cost

....

Vsey hard to reduce that cost. Got to focus on debt. Out of hand. But I do not think it is debt that the shorters target

Gentlemen would you stop playing with it. One day it will just explode and kill somebody. And then you would all feel guilty

They only removed dividends in COVID as one of the few companies who paid all their employees in full with no government subsidy. They never have in the past so it would be a unicorn event.I'm also hovering as many shares as as possible at this yield, 7%+ plus share save coming around again for us employees ?

It's maybe a good thing the fat knut can't leave its diebetic needles and oxygen tank for too long. It might be inadvertently saving children
